Beautiful, private, restored Victorian Coachhouse

This property is utterly charming and full of original character. This old Victorian coachhouse has recently been restored to the highest specification, keeping original walls as a feature and the original hay bale hatch off one of the bedrooms is now a large picture window overlooking a canopy of trees. Guests can expect a stunning interior, beach towels for use with the Villeroy and Boch hot tub and a lovely landscaped private green to enjoy sun and silence. We like to get your holiday off in style and you will be welcomed with welcome bubbles on ice and a goody basket. The hot tub will be nicely warmed for your arrival. It is very peaceful and private yet perfectly located to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer from beaches, to country walks, fine dining and music festivals throughout the year. A stunning links golf course is only a 5 minute drive away, as are surf and riding schools..and more!

Perfect Location

We had an amazing stay at the coach house.Ideal location for exploring Cornwall, host very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, welcome goodies were very much appreciated and a lot of thought gone into them.Beach towels provided were a big bonus.Would highly recommend

Beautiful house in tranquil location

The house is amazing. Very tastefully decorated. Hot tub was a great way to wind down. Beds were really comfortable. Host was very welcoming & helpful. We all had a great stay 😊

Amazing property hidden away

Lovely property & smartly appointed with great bathrooms, kitchen area, log burner & very smart hot tub! The owners were great & very helpful. Only downside was the farm track that leads to the property - it had heavily rained before we arrived & proved to be a little tricky in a van but the 4x4 was fine. Overall a spectacular holiday property & well worth a visit.

Great property, ideal location, helpful owner

We stayed here for a short break in November. The coachhouse has been very recently restored to a high standard. Communication with Rebecca the owner was easy and helpful. Plentiful supply of free range eggs and wood for the log burner. And the clear evenings in the hot tub were a special bonus. The property is ideally located close to Perranporth but also a good base to explore Cornwall.

Loverly, tranquil, perfect

The Coach house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for both the north and south coasts and with Truro 15 mins away it was just what we were after. Rebecca was loverly, always friendly, easily contactable and very happy to help regardless the reason. The whole stay was great and we will definitely be coming back when possible. Thanks

Family Break

House just as advertised. Hot tub a lovely treat after a day at the beach. Took the dog and Rebecca our host pointed out open fields to walk her on. Made use of the wood burner a couple of evenings. Everything you need is there. Thankyou Rebecca

Fantastic Cottage in A Great Location

The Old Coach House is a beautiful, fantastic cottage in a great central location of Cornwall. The property has 3 double bedrooms, 1 downstairs, and 2 bathrooms, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs with a hot tub outside, which is great to use under the stars. The cottage has everything you need, along with a Sky Q box, what more would you need. I would highly recommend this property for a weeks stay or a short few days. Its very homely and beautifully set up. Get booked up immediately.

Lovely barn, high quality fixtures and fittings, and nothing too much trouble for the owners. Little touches of welcome pack and fresh flowers are very thoughtful. We shall definitely return. Only downside is overgrown bushes down farm track and drive.

A wonderful property and excellent hosts, location first class - if in doubt just book it !

A beautiful coach house, excellently refurbished and has style and depth to enjoy over a glass of wine - breath in the atmosphere ! The location is perfect but a car is essential. Just a mile or so from the nearest beach but we preferred those just a step further - check they are dog friendly first - July and August are a no no on most beaches. The local restaurants differ in quality and atmosphere - we liked the tapas in Perranporth and the local Italian (over the road) was unusual but the menu amazing. St Ives and St Agnes still command top slots in my book. A first class holiday location and even better accommodation.

While it’s true a car is preferable for sightseeing further afield, there are some lovely dog walks from the property and a great local pub to head for. You need to try next visit..:) To your point..Beaches are dog friendly most of the year but during July and August nearly all allow dogs if on a lead during the day but can run free after 5 or 6 pm. Couldn't wish for anything more....

The Coach House is the perfect place to stay in Cornwall. Situated ideally between Newquay and St Ives, with the wonderful Perranporth beach literally on your doorstep, you couldn't wish for more. From the very first second of arrival, Rebecca's hospitality and welcome is second to none and greatly infectious, you just end up walking around with a smile on your face every day. They've thought of everything in The Coach House, from the high end interior design touches, to the simple pleasures like board games and maps, Rebecca and The Coach House caters to your every need. Easter getaway

Amazingly was available to rent at short notice for a late gateway over Easter given its great location to explore the lovely beaches that surround this area. Great property- clean, well thought out design with all you need to make for a private and happy stay. Beds super comfy, kitchen well equipped , lovely host.

We couldn't have felt any more welcome, excellent hosting, the little touches were very well received, Rebecca and Phil went the extra mile to accommodate us particularly to facilitate our 8 month old daughter, it had everything we needed for a much needed weekend away in a fantastic location within easy reach of Perranporth, St. Ives and the Eden project. Chocolate box Xmas vacation

Rebecca and Phillip are lovely warm people and were very helpful and attentive. The cottage was decorated with Xmas decorations which made our stay really cosy and festive. We loved the log fire, hot tub and cosy beds but we were really attracted to the fact we could work off our festive bellys by taking long walks along some beautiful coast lines. Fantastic base for family adventures!

We had a great October half term break here as a family, the location means a number of beaches are easily accessible and only a short drive away. and there were plenty of wet weather things to do to nearby too (cider farm was great tip from the host Rebecca). The cottage itself is newly refurbished and really well set-up with an added bonus of a great hot tub. Rebecca was super helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

I can not recommend Rebecca & Phillip highly enough. Such gracious, kind and lovely hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed (and more!) during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and it was clear that Rebecca is a very caring person. The accommodation itself was absolutely stunning and set in breathtaking private grounds but with easy access to Perranporth & surrounding areas. Can not recommend highly enough and would definitely book again! Thank you so much Rebecca!!! :)

Beautiful coach house stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the coach house , beautiful country lane walks to the beach and so many options of places to go by car. Would definitely recommend to book for meals out prior to going as we did struggle to get into anywhere decent with Cornwall being so busy and popular. The hot tub at the end of the day was just perfect and felt like the perfect place to unwind. Rebecca was always available via text regarding any queries or questions we had so overall we would definitely recommend our stay. # love Cornwall

The cottage was very cozy and clean, it’s quite close to most of the places in Cornwall. the property manager Rebecca was very friendly and helpful! We had one of the most amazing holidays in Cornwall. We definitely will come back again!
