The Loft House is an inviting and uniquely renovated Fisherman’s cottage for four, moments from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour. The cottage is set over three floors and features beautiful original features, alongside contemporary finishes. A cosy fireplace, private courtyard and beamed ceilings alongside a pretty plant-filled courtyard - the perfect place for a morning coffee or BBQ, or relax on the private sun terrace with a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.

Beautiful renovated property in the heart of Mousehole

A little gem of a place, 2 minutes from the harbour. Very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Neil was really helpful and suggested many lovely local places to eat. I highly recommend this property

Neil's place is lovely. Very clean and well equipped with nice touches such as starter wood for the wood burner. Quiet but close to all the great restaurants. Great communication and lots of good information was provided by Neil. We were not able to use the outdoor spaces much because of the weather but having 2 terraces was really nice.

Home from home

Idyllic location in the most lovely harbour with a selection of restaurants and pubs. This house is done to a high spec. Fully equipped kitchen and everything you would want in a rental. Beautifully decorated and a cosy atmosphere and is literally a stones throw from the harbour. Really did meet our expectations and would absolutely return!

Mousehole Magnificent

Charming, well-appointed and within 50 steps of the harbor. One of the best vacation rentals we’ve had. We happened to be there on the warmest day in UK history. But the Loft House was comfortable and a good jumping off point for hikes along the coast and swimming for our teenagers from the town quay. We would stay there for a week if we could.

We had a lovely stay in this spacious home spread across three levels. The upper and middle floors felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained — we especially enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living room and spending time on the sunny terrace.The lower level, while practical and clean, had a slightly different atmosphere and could benefit from a bit more attention to detail. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall charm of the house.All in all, a great place to stay — we made wonderful memories here and would happily return.

Beautiful little cottage in a great location

We had high hopes for our Cornwall vacation and this cute little cottage helped us exceed our expectations. First, the house is just as cute in person as it is on-line. Second, it is centrally located in Mousehole, a wonderful village that feels charmed and less touristy than many others in Cornwall. Third, in spite of the small size of Mousehole, we never had trouble finding parking, and the cottage was close to the parking lots, so no lugging luggage for long ways. We had a great home base for our many day jaunts and were sad to leave this morning. Cottage has a well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer that was especially handy.

Our family spent loveley weeks in this cozy and invinting propery which is situated just a couple of steps fron the enchanting Moushole harbour with restaurants, pubs and shops.Everything you‘d need even for a longer stay was provided in very high quality. The host was very forthcoming and always at hand when needed.Alas parking can be an issue during high season. Usually, free parking space nearby is very limited and one should be prepared either to walk a great deal or to pay for the pay and display parking which is plenty and just around the corner.We mainly opted for the walk along the shoreline and were rewarded with beautiful views of Mount“s Bay and St. Michael’s Mount.

This small, cozy cottage is very charmingly furnished and has everything you need, including good Wi-Fi. Just a few steps from the front door, you're already at Mousehole's cute little harbor, where you'll also find a convenient parking space. Mobile phone reception is rather limited in Mousehole. We felt very comfortable in Mousehole and in the little cottage and had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back. Communication with the very friendly and accommodating owner of the cottage was very pleasant and uncomplicated. We can recommend this place without hesitation! Thank you for the wonderful time in Cornwall.

Fine property - unexpected quirk

This property was historic with very modern renovations. Very comfortable but had a quirk. The two bathrooms were on the upper or lower floor that had stairs that might be complicated for some ages or abilities. THe main floor was well decorated but there was no water there as the kitchen was on the lower floor with a bathroom and bedroom. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it very much?

Fabulous very well-appointed house.

Fabulous very well-appointed house which has been refurbished and furnished to a very high standard. Great location. Beds were especially comfortable. The large outside decking area at the back of the lounge was the perfect sun trap. We had no problems parking in the harbour car parks albeit occasionally had to wait a short time for a space to become free. As recommended in the welcoming literature it is worth booking if you want to guarantee a table in one of the pubs or restaurants as they do get busy. We particularly liked the proper pub grub at The Ship (as well as the very well kept ales) and the superb food at the Orange cafe opposite the house.

Wunderschönes Häuschen in entzückendem Dorf am Meer

Loft House ist ein echtes Kleinod. Sehr hell und freundlich gestaltet. Ein gemütlicher Kamin und eine große Terrasse sind ein tolles Plus. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ausgesprochen angenehm. (Allerdings sollten Menschen mit Knieproblemen wissen, dass die Treppe zur Küche hinunter sehr steil ist - bedingt durch den urigen Charakter des alten Fischerhäuschens. Und Mousehole selbst ist durch die engen alten Gassen am Anfang ein kleines Abenteuer, um das Auto zum Parkplatz am Kai zu bringen. Wir haben uns jedoch schnell daran gewöhnt.) Fazit: Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

The Loft House become available to buy in the spring of 2021 and we jumped at the opportunity. The previous owner had lovingly restored the cottage and it had been a successful AirBnB let. Though I will not be able to greet you personally, Helen will be on hand to ensure that all is perfect for your stay and that you will be as comfortable as possible. I have provided a file of information about the cottage and the local area, including places to visit in a folder in the kitchen. I am happy to advise on trips, days out and local restaurants/cafes.
