The county town of Matlock is just 2 miles away and was popular from 1698 until 1950 for its warm springs that provided water therapy to travellers from near and far. Today the town provides a host of fabulous eateries, great shops, a fascinating museum and at the heart of the town, Leys Hall Park provides a lovely setting for a host of recreational activities including bowls, mini golf, tennis, boating and a children’s play area. A short drive will bring you to plenty of attractions such as Heights of Abraham, a magnificent hilltop park with cable car rides, fossil exhibitions at the museum and an abundance of tranquil walking paths. If you are searching for adventure throughout your stay, nearby is the Peaks and Paddles Outdoor Adventure centre, which offers guided outdoor activities including canoeing, abseiling, and caving. Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Photos really don't do it justice 💕 very cosy and immaculately clean, with cute added little touches . owners were very friendly, and beryl the frenchie. Plenty to do in the surrounding area wether you like shopping, history or walking with the pups. Can't wait to book again.
