Great apartment! The 4 of us stayed there 2 nights and loved it. Silvia was there to welcome us and was made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Highly recommended spot!

Lovely apartment close to the best of Florence

Silvia was the most gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment and furnishings are very nice and the bed is so cozy. The Duomo, shopping and restaurants are all a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Lovely Stay!

This is a sweet apartment in a quiet neighborhood, but a short walk to the city center. Silvia kindly accommodated our request to store our bags prior to the official check in time. Would recommend!

Great place in Florence

Fabulous Florence

Sylvia is just the best host, she totally looked after us. The apartment is great, very central and very close to the Duomo (Cathederal) and you are able to walk to all the sights. Close to the station too. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful location in Florence!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay here. Our host was extremely accommodating and responsive. It was a great location close to the Duomo. It was just the right size for a family of four. The kids slept on the pullout couch, my husband and I in the bedroom. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Florence.

Florence honeymoon stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Silvia's apartment. It was clean, airy, and centrally located to many of Florences wonders, including looking at the Duomo from the window. The street was quiet at night, which made keeping the windows open even more lovely. There are a lot of delicious places to walk to, including a great spot at the end of the block for breakfast. Silvia was very helpful and gracious host.

The apartment was centrally located with easy access to all attractions. Was out of the busy, busy area which was great to get away from the crowded tourist areas. Sylvia was a great host, always available to answer any questions and offer advice on what to do in the area. If you dont want to do stairs everyday to get to your apartment, this may not be for you.

Florence Stay 9/19-9/25/23

This was our first time in Italy and we loved Florence and this apartment. It was hard to leave. The location was fabulous - right near the Duomo but on a quiet side street. Silvia was a wonderful host. She was there when we arrived and gave us wonderful dinner recommendations. We were minutes away from the Uffizi and Academia. We have a wonderful time and can't wait to return to Florence and this apartment.

Lovely!

Perfect little apartment in a wonderful location. You can see Il Duomo from the window. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Piazza del Duomo.Silvia was an angel. The check in and check out process was so simple. Silvia sent us recommendations of things to do and places to eat every day. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. There was even a tiny washer that we used a couple of times. The bedroom and living room both had a little AC unit which was lovely. A couple things to be aware of: you have to climb several flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Not a problem if you're in good shape, just something to be aware of. Also, because of the AC units, you can't close the window covers, so the light from the street comes through at night and the sun is bright in the morning. If you have a hard time sleeping when there's light, bring a mask or something. All in all, an amazing stay! We loved the location and we're very comfortable!

Silvia was in touch almost immediately after we landed. She was great! She met us at the apt to walk us through the somewhat tricky process of entering the apt, which required 4 keys to unlock 4 doors. Pay attention to this!! And, remember to ask her about locking the doors. We had an unpleasant interaction with a neighbor who was furious with us. We don't speak Italian, he didn't speak English, but we understood that somehow we locked him out of the 3rd door. He spent several minutes yelling and showing us how to properly use it. We never understood, so simply left that door unlocked all 4 nights of our stay! The location of the apt was directly across the street from a university. Classes began daily at 8:00 am and the street was full of young adults by 7:30. This isn't a place you would be able to sleep in much past 7:30. Lots of cars and motor scooters parking directly on the street below the apt. We loved the location and could see the Duomo from our windows. It was a short walk to everything we wanted to do - Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia, restaurants, Ponte Vecchio, all within walking distance of approximately 15-20 mins. I never did get the coffee machine to produce a cup of coffee.There is a caffe steps from the apartment if it doesn't work for you either. Apt was very clean and beds were comfortable! If you'll be using the sofa bed, let Silvia know ahead. Keep windows closed, the mosquitoes are horrendous!

Dear Tanya, thank you for your review and I would like to excuse me for my neighbour., but you wrote a lot of contradictions in your comments. 1) you are un the centre of the city FLORENCE and it's normal to heard voices , next time chose the country side....or far from the centre 2) Nespresso machine works perfectly and why you didn't send me a message that you weren't able to use it during your staying? I'm at disposal of my guest every day 3) For mosquitos it' s incredible because I HAVE 4 electric stove against mosquitos. why didn't use it????
