Nearby Budle Bay has thousands of waders on the tidal lagoon, a stunning sight looking over to the island. The local bus will take you to the popular coastal villages of Beadnell and Seahouses, with the working harbour and boat trips to the Farne Islands, and Bamburgh with the stunning cliff top castle and one of the most romantic and photographed beaches set behind the castle.
