This flat in Antibes is light, bright and airy, and in an ideal location. It's on the top floor, and overlooks the promenade. Beyond that, is the Mediterranean Sea, blue and beautiful. The balcony is a lovely perch on a sunny day. Gulls and swallows drift by, the sound of the surf is soothing. We loved this part of it, would happily live there.But, we had several problems, most of which could not be helped. Stuff happens. Our biggest complaint was with the host management company, Check My Guest. We weren't met, but got into the building okay, only to find our way to the top floor blocked by a metal gate. The local CMG rep seemed to think we didn't know the difference between the NA system of floor counting and the European, and kept telling me to go up a flight. I actually had to hold my phone to the gate while I shook it til it rattled like a jailcell door while calmly telling her we couldn't. We waited outside for a good hour until someone came with a key. Again, things happen, but the attitude was horrible. There were ongoing issues that undoubtedly will be resolved. Once the host, Julien, was informed of the problems, he reached out to us and was most gracious. We have no complaints about him whatsoever. Or, to be honest, the place itself. We continued to stay simply because it is so lovely. Check it out. I have a feeling Check My Guest won't be a problem much longer.

Appartement très bien situé face à la mer. Vue magnifique. Salon spacieux. Cuisine équipée mais poêles en très mauvais état.Dommage qu'une des chambres communique directement et sans porte avec la salle de bain. Les occupants de l'autre chambre n'y ont donc pas accès directement. Lors de notre séjour (en hiver), il y avait une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre. Sinon, attention au problème de stationnement. L'endroit est piétonnier. Les parkings sont proches mais tous payants et chers.

Apparemment de charme

Situation exceptionnelle qui se mérite. Pour arriver jusqu’à l appartement il faut voyager sans trop de bagages car l accès se fait par des ruelles piétonnes puis un escalier étroit jusqu’au 3 eme étage.

Die Wohnung war echt schön und hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Und man war mitten in der Altstadt. Aber: beim Einchecken gab es massive Probleme. Wir bekamen keinen Code, obwohl wir es vorher angemahnt hatten. Weder per Email noch telefonisch konnten wir jemanden erreichen oder wurden stets weitergereicht, ohne Hilfe zu bekommen. Wir mussten uns ein Hotelzimmer suchen, warteten weiterhin auf Reaktionen von Belvilla und checkmyguest und konnten erst am nächsten Tag durch Intervention eines deutschen Mitarbeiters endlich den Zugang bekommen. Außerdem hätte man uns mitteilen müssen, dass man mit dem Auto keinen Zugang hat, einen Parkplatz suchen muss und das Gepäck tragen. Unsere Woche war trotzdem schön, aber der katastrophale Start führt zu der schlechten Bewertung.
