Charming and romantic apartment with courtyard, recently renovated and with chic decor. Great attention to detail to make our guests extremely comfortable. Excellent for a couple. Located on the ground floor with a few steps. It is composed of a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen-living room with sofa bed for a person no more than 1.60m tall and a bathroom with shower and a small courtyard furnished with a table for dinner or breakfast.
The location is the beautiful San Niccolò neighborhood, easily reachable on foot from Piazzale Michelangelo with the best view of the city. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, bars for breakfast and aperitifs and ice cream parlors
A 10 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio and all the most important attractions.

Amazing location in Florence!

It was located in a gorgeous location near beautiful flower gardens and a breathtaking outlook point! Fantastic restaurants were just around the corner as well. About a 15-20 minute walk from the Florence city center; highly recommend this property, made our experience here even better! Thank you for everything!!!

Romantic in the Centre of Firenze

The appartment ist very nice decorated and is located as beschreibt, relly near to the Uffici. We reached everything in walking. We enjoyed the little Terrasse for breakfast and in the evening, a big plus!

Lovely stay in Florence with rustic charm

We enjoyed our stay at Belvedere Sweet Florence. The location was perfect for walking to most key sites we wanted to see, and we had a great selection of cafes right outside our door for dining or grabbing a snack. The flat had the rustic charm you want for a stay in Italy and the neighborhood was quiet. My only suggestion would be to add some wash clothes with the bath linens, and some additional maps / information for getting cabs & bus access, etc. I would recommend this location for any couple looking for a romantic stay in Firenze!

Quaint in Belvedere

Wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. The area is charming and walk to the river not far. We did have a little trouble with communication not sure how to make that better but we eventually made contact and everything worked out. For bus transportation use bus 23 to the city.

Everything awesome except stove...

Wonderful neighborhood close to a lot of cafes, shopping, charming apt, only issue the gas stove just wasn’t going to light for us, and the garbage and empty wine bottles still there from prev visitors. Host quickly got rid of, very friendly. Would recommend!.

I decided on this property based on the patio area specifically. Was very disappointed that when we arrived, the furniture had been change out to a cheap vinyl covered steel table, the plants were half dead, the walls and floor were covered in mold/algae and that there were at least 3 apt over the top looking directly into the patio. Totally unappealing and we never used it. Soaps were to be provided, For a 10 day stay we were provided 2 washer cleaning tabs. The apartment itself is small but quaint, might be ok for 1 to 2 day stay

Not as quaint as expected. I was really looking forward to this property. It showed really well in the photos (was obviously nicely staged; must have been taken quite some time ago), but in reality needs A LOT of love. Walls are dull and peeling, curtains falling down, knobs loose, kitchen chair cushions were grossly stained as was the red sofa that was swapped out from the one pictured. There were no signs of stone on the patio as the wall was covered in overgrown vines and the patio umbrella was so dirty one could never relax under it. It did have a few positive features: great ac and iron. Unfortunately, not enough to bring me back again. So, no, I would not recommend this property to others. ☹️

Good stay, but could've been better

Overall I would give my stay a 4/5 star rating. Particularly because of the cleanliness of the apartment. We had to walk around with socks on because the floor was not clean and we didn't want to bring the dirt into the bed at the end of the day. There were cob webs in the bedroom and bathroom as well as a couple of insects and bugs around the apartment (including above the shower). Additionally, and I think someone else mentioned it, the water heater seems to either be quite small, leading to VERY short showers before the water turned cold, or I reckon there is simply a problem with the water heater because my spouse noticed that as I would shower the water heater would turn off and back on as the water temperature would fluctuate throughout my 10 minute shower. We got used to it on the first day and decided to shower with at least an hour between ourselves, but this wouldn't really solve the problem considering the water temperature would vary wildly between scolding hot and ice cold every few minutes. On to the good parts: - The location is fantastic and very picturesque. It is about 5 minutes away from the bus stop that takes you wherever you need to be within 25 minutes. Otherwise you can walk anywhere you may need within 40-45 minutes. - The kitchen is VERY well equipped. We bought some food on the first day and had breakfast at the apartment every day, which was wonderful. - The terrace was very nice. Thank you for a lovely time at your wonderful home!

This VRBO proved to be disappointing. The first thing to note is there is no practical parking. The one parking lot that is advertised as available 24/7 is always filled and in fact is far from the apartment, so a long walk with luggage becomes necessary or finding a difficult to find apartment and double parking to unload. All of the above can be avoided if one arrives by taxi and has no car. So, if you are considering this apartment, take that in to account. We were unaware and therefore caught off guard in this regard. The photos are lovely and the apartment could more closely approximate the photos with some more attention to maintenance and more attention to upkeep. For example, the bedroom is clean and fresh, but the curtains were filthy and tied at the bottom, presumably to mask the dirt. The nice touches with decor in the photos are either lacking over time, or moved around so much as to lose their positive effect. The patio needs all season upkeep to maintain some plantings, color, etc and needs to be freshend up regularly. The shower is smalll but workable but requies upkeep as well: the seal on the bottom of the shower doors have fallen off, are slick with mold and require attention to prevent water loss onto the floor. The shower would be easier to manuever in if a holder for shampoo etc, were to be attacked to the wall tile. Again the basics are here, but need to reflect some more thought about upkeep, ease of use, cleanliness.

Do NOT stay at this property.

The property owner speaks very little English. Interaction is through the owner's young adult daughter. Communication was only via VRBO and WhatsApp. When we had just arrived in Florence, our international WiFi/phone service was not working properly, yet the owner was trying to reach us only via WhatsApp calling, and we never connected. Thus finding the place and getting situated was a gaffe from the start. There were no written instructions inside the apartment, for things like trash removal, door locks, washing machine, etc. We had to figure these things out on our own, and with significant frustration and delay to starting our days touring. As a safety professional, being able to quickly exit the apartment from the INSIDE is important. The door to the street (what I would call a security door) had a defective lock. It was very tricky to operate - to open- even with instructions. I worried that we'd come back late at night after a long day of sightseeing and find ourselves locked out. When I raised this with the owner, the response was that a locksmith had evaluated the lock and said it was ok, and that they'd never had an issue with security before. Not very reassuring. There were several lightbulbs burned out upon our initial entry - over the stove, bathroom vanity light (making it very difficult to use the bathroom sink), living room overhead light. Why these weren't fixed between occupants it's bewildering. When brought to the attention of the owner, they offered to replace the bulbs, but it would have been 2 days into our stay. The apartment has the world's smallest shower, maybe 6 square feet. It worked, but very tight. And there was no shelf or rack to place soap or shampoo, so all of that had to go on the floor; gross. Half way through the stay, the shower drain trap clogged completely causing water to get several inches deep on the floor, which we had to stand in. I had to remove the drain cover and clean out a bunch of hair. It had to have collected over time, not from our couple of showers before it clogged. Apparently the cleaning service is only cursory. The toilet seat was missing 2 of 4 screws causing it to wobble significantly. When I brought this to the owner's attention (that the toilet seat was broken) I was told, with a patronizing tone, that the immediate prior renters didn't have a problem with it and that it wasn't 'broken' it just needed fixed! The 'discounted' parking garage arrangement was a sham.

We always intervene as soon as possible to help our guests! The valet in the garage told us that you were rude to him too !! You didn't come on vacation, you came to vent your bad mood :(

Lovely bedroom with large and Lit confortable, armoire spacieuse, armoires de chevet décentes et lampes de chevet efficaces. Moins bien qu'en photos

Mauvais rapport qualité prix. Tout a vieilli depuis les photos qui sont bien travaillées. Terrasse pas nettoyée, très bruyante à certains moments de la journée (télé du voisin à fond, grand-mère au dessus qui disjoncte un peu ..) Le logement est nettement moins lumineux que sur les photos. Mais c'est le seul qui restait après qu'une autre location nous aie annulé le séjour pour de soi disant travaux urgents. Pas mal de moustiques aussi. Cher pour ce que c'est.
