Apartment was very clean, close to restaurants, supermarket and tram line. Safe area. Communication with the owner was fast and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The host was amazing, the location equally so. The amenities in the apartment (kitchen, laundry etc.) we did not use but were all there and ready to be used to make for a comfortable stay. And if you have a chance to meet the neighbours across the way they are an incredible kind older couple, which goes to the location, take advantage of staying in a neighbourhood, it makes the stay that much more memorable.

This apartment is spacious and very well equipped. It was in the perfect location for a wedding we had been invited to.Take an easy walk to the city centre or waterfront. There are plenty of tiny tavernas and shops along the street too. The location is on a steep hill, but most of Alfama is built on a hill. The airport is an easy taxi ride away and with access to the metro stations nearby, trips further afield are very easy.I would definitely book this again. The host is responsive and helpful.

Located in a perfect spot, the apartment was very convenient. Nice to have elevator to help with luggage. Noise from school was not a problem for us. Fun to see the kids and families gather in plaza across the street! The apartment is centrally located, very close to restaurants. We walked most places. The kitchen is fully furnished. Everything modern.

Lots of potential with this place but we had significant internet, heating, electrical and shower leak problems. We made the owners aware of the issues and they did nothing. Other VRBO reviews for this place are good, but if you look on a different popular booking site, you’ll see the same complaints over and over going back to 2024. Positives? Nice linens and towels, good location and a comfortable living/dining space.

The flat location is absolutely amazing!! Surrounded by markets and restaurants and just down from the Fado Museum and short walking distance to tons of stuff. The flat itself was nice, however, we had some issues. We had zero heat while there for 4 nights. There were four remote controls for mini splits that didn’t work anything and in fact the name on the remotes had nothing to do with the units. When contacting the host they kept asking for pictures of the units and remotes and I was like sorry we are not there and won’t be back until evening. I was told someone would be dispatched and was assured they had come but the remotes were not moved and then I was told they had not heard from the maintenance company. Then the shower started leaking from under the pan not just a little like the entire drain separated. The 2nd floor small bedroom has no windows or split so no air in there if you’re going for summer. The carpet in the living room was stained so bad not sure why they don’t just toss it lol. There was also no instructions on where to take trash etc. Anyways, besides this we would definitely stay there again as the location is so amazing, you truly experience Lisbon in the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon.
