Evesham Country Park is well worth a visit with an extensive garden centre, well-stocked farm shop, courtyard shops and restaurant, as well as a 130-acre estate criss-crossed with walks, or take a stroll up Bredon Hill home to an Iron Age Fort, Roman ramparts and numerous old standing stones all within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearby spa town of Malvern dates back to the Bronze Age, attracting plenty of visitors with its antique and craft fairs and auctions throughout the year, and the ancient cathedral city of Worcester, birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar is also close by.
