The ultimate "glamping" experience. You just show up! Although, located in a secluded mountain locaton, this is not boondocking... no roughing it here! Prevost, the gold standard for luxury in motor coaches, coupled with the best outdoor experience in Brevard, NC without any of the fuss.
Until now, this type of experience was only available to a select few. We have not only made it available, but affordable.... that's right, a completely restored 1981 Prevost motorcoach. A 40' slice of pure decadence.
Not only does "Big Mamma" have an updated Galley (kitchen) & a full bathroom, the coach is hardwired for all utilities including endless hot water, wifi, heat & air conditioning.
In addition to an outdoor living area (with outdoor cooking area and firepit), there is ample space to pitch a tent or hang a hammock. For those that choose to sleep inside, "Big Mamma" has a master bedroom with a very comfy Queen size bed, 2 leather sofa beds, & a dining table that will transform in to a bed. The local area offers exceptional outdoor recreational activities: • Minutes from Downtown Brevard (although, when you are here, you feel you are miles from nowhere). • 15 minutes from the National & State Forests... this place is not just famous for the best hiking & mountain biking, but also for all of the beautiful waterfalls, which earned its nickname "The Land of Waterfalls."
Our Property is on the road that hosts The Assault on the Carolinas as well as 1000s of recreational road bike riders each year.
Our Coach will sleep 5 • Bedroom is queen size bed (sleeps 2). • 2 Sofa bed (sleeps 2). • Dinner table (sleep 1 child)
We have new Tempurpedic style mattresses (very comfy, but not hot):

Awesome kitchen... Although, you have to provide & cook your own food:). • New appliances (microwave & steam microwave). • We provide dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, utensils, etc.
Extras (frequent comments & questions asked that we did not know where to fit in). • Air conditioned and heated . • TV: a very big one in the front room and also a tv in bedroom. • Kid friendly.
+ Property is like a park with its own playground (literally) + Hike & explore without leaving the property (down time for mom & dad)

The property is beautiful and well kept. There's so much for the kids to do and play on for those days when we were too tired to go hiking.
Great location. Close to lots of sightseeing trails.
Our glamping experience was fun! My grandsons enjoyed the playground , hot tub and large games. Sleeping was comfortable. The RV was roomy and fit us well. The location was perfect. We played in the river at Looking Glass Falls, ate at Rocky's Soda Shop and shopped at O.P. Taylors. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Glamping is different. Be prepared
The Glamping Experience is different. Be prepared.
Nice area, nice property and overall could be fun.
There were some issues. Some could have been avoided some cant.
1. No instructions on how to use TV/Internet or how the bus works. I am not a seasoned RV user so I was lost. Homeowners should have a letter of instructions on how to use things, TV/Internet/Lights/Hot Tub/where things are stored ie towels etc. This is an easy fix by the homeowners.
2. I was taking shower Sunday am and water just stopped. No fun driving 6 hours with half shower. Wife did not get to shower and she was not happy.
3. sent message to owners on how the TV worked Saturday afternoon. Responded Sunday an hour after we left. I did get a note saying they had a plumbing problem and pet issue after we left. A phone call about the plumbing would have been nice.,
It is a great property away from the city lights and the stars were great. I feel confident the homeowners will fix the instruction issue before the next guest arrives. If in area I will stay again.

Sorry to hear that you had challenges... not sure your rating is commensurate with your overall stay or the conversations you had with us after you left about a refund... I guess you wanted more back.
Unfortuneately, we took for granite that tvs, light switches wifi, wifi and hot tubs are self explanatory... has not been a concern with past guests.
A motor coach is definitely not a house... water consumption needs to be a consideration. 65 gallons/ day is alot, but if you are not used to this constraint it is easy to use up.
We always do our best to provide a positive experience at all of our properties, so we will definitely evaluate your points and address as necessary.
Next time we recommend you stay in one of the cottages... water will not be a challenge and we will plan a walk thru (versus self check in and check.out).
We had a wonderful time in Big Mama. The owners are very nice and respond quickly to questions. They have done a wonderful job with the grounds— super cute and has everything you need ! My kids loved the play area, and the hot tub. Big Mama was well stocked with dinnerware/cookware/linens and our bed was very comfortable! It was spacious - we never felt crammed with our little family (3 boys: 6,4,1). Also it was super clean and smelled good! Easy access to the grocery and lots of good hiking. Highly recommend!!
This glamping experience was just what we needed—a unique and exciting way to spend the holiday weekend since we could not be on an RC cruise.
Our motor cottage was very much like a cruise ship suite however we had a lot more storage area and comforts.
Our hosts were available for any concerns and offered suggestions to make sure our stay was memorable.
I highly recommend this glamping experience for cozy couples and small families. Just bring your food and fun loving attitude—-everything else is provided.
Very nice hosts. The outdoor amenities were great. We were able to let the kids roam and keep an eye on them from the camper while they were anywhere on the property.
I loved staying in the motor home. The property is just far enough out of town to be out of the crowds but was within easy reach of downtown Brevard for dinner and shopping and the Blue Ridge parkway for sightseeing. The owners are great folks.
One suggestion, use Ingles not WalMart for food and supplies.
It was awesome to be able to camp in an RV without worrying about all the set up. Richard and Cindy have plenty of activities for the family. Will definitely revisit them for our next vacation.
