The cabin is lovely and cozy. The outdoor porches and sitting areas are absolutely peaceful and beautiful. The river is easily accessible. Loved walking our dog on road leading into the property. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a serene place to stay.
Everything was great. It was clean, very quiet and relaxing and off grid. I would recommend adjusting the plumbing to allow more water pressure and maybe a little bigger master bed
The cabin was lovely and clean. The property was gorgeous and just what we needed. The only real complaint was the neighbors dog who barked at us constantly.
This place is so amazing. Beautiful cabin. It just feels like home. The perfect get away. Caught some trout right off the deck. Several great river access points within a mile or so if you would like to expand your fishing. Could not be more pleased. I can not wait to return
We had a wonderful stay in Mountain Rest! Exactly the retreat we needed to relax and reconnect! Melissa the host was great and the house was clean and peaceful! Definitely would stay here again!
We loved this place and will be coming back later this year.
My wife and I loved how quite it was and the patio is great to spend time on all day and night.
The host was awesome and the house was fully stocked.
This was the second time my wife and I stayed at the cabin. We love being able to bring our dogs and they love all the mountain sniffs! The cabin has always been clean and the property is always beautiful.
This is a lovely house by the river, at the end of a dirt road! It’s peaceful and relaxing, the porch was awesome, the kitchen is updated and modern, the extra bathroom was small but nice to have at the upstairs bedroom, the host was quick to respond and very helpful giving us an extra day when I messed up my schedule so I highly recommend this property!!
The cabin has a rustic charm, yet it was beautiful and well appointed. The setting is absolutely stunning and absolute perfection for outdoors lovers such as my husband and I. We enjoyed each night with a fire my the river, took relaxing walks and still managed to hit a few waterfalls hikes nearby. This cabin would make an amazing choice anytime of the year and we cannot wait to return!
Stayed in June for a trout fishing trip in the area. The property fit our needs very well, had everything we needed and the owner was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Had an excellent overall experience!
