Enjoy these beautifully decorated, very clean cedar log homes in Montana’s majestic Paradise Valley! We are on the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park (Gardner entrance is 35 miles South) and just a short drive south of historic downtown Livingston, Montana. The homes boast a large well-manicured lawn with mature trees, fantastic views of Emigrant Peak (el. 10,926 feet!), and access to Yellowstone River and its exceptional fishing and abundant recreation opportunities.
The Moose Horn Lodge at Paradise Ranch Retreat features welcoming Western decor, an inviting gas fireplace, a large smart TV, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious living area and dining area, and is comfortable for six.
In the living area, you can snuggle up next to the gas fireplace on the inviting couch, and two oversized recliners and enjoy the breathtaking view of Emigrant Peak. Pass the time bird and wildlife watching with the binoculars! Enjoy Dish Network or your favorite streaming service on the large smart TV.
Partial walls separate the kitchen and dining room from the living area, making it an ideal space to entertain! Cook your favorite Montana recipes in our well-appointed kitchen - complete with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, Western themed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware.
There is plenty of room for all in our dining area! Enjoy your meals, play a game, or share your adventure stories and photos at our beautiful wooden table featuring six seats (plus an extra chair!). The kitchen island has a bar with three matching wooden chairs for extra seating.
Enjoy the majestic mountain views from each of the three bedrooms. Every bedroom features custom-made log bed frames with new, comfortable bedding (updated regularly), bedside tables with western decor lamps, closets, luggage racks and wooden wardrobes.
Two full bathrooms provide all the comforts of home including fresh towels, hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. One of the two full bathrooms hosts the washer and dryer has plenty of room for you to wash and fold laundry.
Outdoor, we feature a covered front porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails amongst the glorious Montana views. The mountain sunrises and sunsets will astound you.
The propane BBQ grill is located in the Moose Horn’s back yard. Host your cookout on the spacious lawn. The Trout House shares the large lawn area with Paradise Ranch Retreat’s Trout House, which is a separate home that sleeps up to six.
The Trout House features one bedroom with a beautifully framed queen size bed and one bedroom with charming twin bunk beds that kids will adore! A fully furnished kitchen, a full bathroom with washer and dryer provide all of the comforts of home. The living room features a welcoming stone gas fireplace, a large smart TV, and two comfortable couches. A full sleeper sofa is available in the Trout House living room; an ideal alternative sleeping arrangement for a second adult party.
Look for the locally discovered fossils, shells and petrified wood hidden throughout the stonework of the inviting gas fireplace! The vaulted ceilings, high windows, and mountain views enhance your comfort in this home.

This property features easy local access to the Yellowstone River, which flows just across the highway from the homes. Walk to or drive down the access road just across from Paradise Ranch Retreat or launch your boat at Grey Owl Fishing Access Site – just a mile up Highway 89!

Paradise Ranch Retreat is located is in the heart of Paradise Valley. It is rurally located four miles from the town of Emigrant, Montana, which sits between the majestic and picturesque Absaroka and Gallatin Mountain Ranges. Emigrant hosts a gas station, a well-stocked convenience store, post office, WildFlour Bakery, Follow Ur Nose BBQ, the Old Saloon, Livery Stable, and Angler's West Fly Fishing shop.
This area offers remarkably high quality food, libation, and entertainment options, especially between May and October. Sage Lodge luxury fly-fishing resort is four miles from our doorstep, just past Emigrant. Sage’s bar and restaurant offer stunning views overlooking the Yellowstone River. Be sure to check out their great wine selection and fantastic wood fire pizza! Nestled under Emigrant Peak, Chico Hot Springs Resort and Day Spa is five miles away and offers the quintessential Montana experience. There are underground sprinklers in the yard so keep in mind they will come on at night.
Please mind children as we are located close to Highway 89 and a seasonal swift and deep canal, located just west of the Trout House beyond the lawn.
