Enjoy Beautiful Mountain Views in all directions at the Mountain Meadow House
Larimer County Approval # 20-NCD0386
Our beautiful house is located on an acre of meadow land and has gorgeous mountain views on all sides. Nestled in the Carriage Hills community of Estes Park, the Beaver Meadow Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is only minutes away.
This newly remodeled 2,340 square foot home offers incredible 360 degree ever-changing views of the gorgeous, snow-capped peaks and plenty of blue skies and bright stars. There are also neighborhood lakes within walking distance, as well as a bike path that runs adjacent to the golf course and loops through downtown, by Lake Estes, and the fairgrounds. Great for a leisurely walk or bicycle ride.
Our smoke-free vacation home is a great place for family and friends to gather and spend a comfortable relaxing time together. Whether you choose to spend your day enjoying the wildlife and natural beauty while relaxing on the wrap around deck, exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding area or strolling and shopping in downtown Estes Park, the Mountain Meadow House offers a warm and welcoming place to relax and unwind.
The master has a queen bed, as well as a full bath directly from the bedroom and a patio door with views of the snow-capped Mummy Mountain Range. Two of the remaining bedrooms have queen-sized beds with patio doors opening directly to the wrap-around deck. The fourth bedroom also has a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa is located in the downstairs living area as well, allowing plenty of room for extended family and friends of all ages to sleep comfortably.
The cathedral ceiling Great room offers dynamic views of the Twin Sisters, the Mummy Range with snow capped peaks of Chapin, Fairchild, and Ypsilon (13,514 ft), Lumpy Ridge and the beautiful Estes Valley. The Great room has windows that face east, west, north and south, and it is open to the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a holiday meal or a picnic on the deck. Also enjoy a cup of coffee while reading the paper on one of the three bar stools at the log counter while conversing with the chefs. The Great room design allows families to be together to enjoy their vacation to the fullest as they prepare meals, watch TV and interact during the day.
The dining room table comfortably seats 8, with counter seating and the bistro table nearby so a group of 14 can enjoy a meal together, should you have visitors join you during your stay.
For those traveling with young children, we offer a few things to make your stay easier. There are non-breakable dishes, a Graco Pack-n-Play, a Graco Pack-n-Play Deluxe, and a Lego play table that can double as a place to eat or play games by simply turning over the top.
Enjoy the additional bistro table for that morning cup of coffee or an evening of cards & games. We have plenty of puzzles and games to be played. Cozy up in front of one of the two fireplaces with a good book and a cup of tea or glass of wine. There is plenty of comfortable seating space to watch your favorite movie or sports event on the 47” flat screen TV. We have included many DVD’s and videos for the family. We also have free wireless Internet. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy reading there is the living room and an additional family room to relax with your own book or one of ours. This home is designed to enjoy the views and the sunshine from every room.
Being inside is fantastic but being outside enjoying the mountain air, wildlife, and views from our wrap-around deck is even better. One can easily spend hours just relaxing in one of the two rockers on the large deck reading, enjoying Colorado’s deep blue skies and bright sunshine, watching deer or elk meandering by, and soaking up the beauty of these magnificent mountains.
Enjoy the views while you grill on our easily accessible outdoor grill or have burgers at our 8-foot picnic table. Or just relax with your favorite beverage while watching the ever-changing colors of the Mummy Range. Watch the hummingbirds drink nectar or observe deer, herds of elk, picas, or rabbits playing in the yard.
At night, the quiet and the cool crisp mountain air are perfect for sleeping after enjoying a glorious sunset, and gazing for awhile at a night sky filled with a million stars!

We loved the spaciousness of the home, the views from the windows, and the outdoor porches. It was a wonderful gathering place for our family reunion and close to Estes Park/Rocky Mountain NP.
The location of this property was prime. Close to town, but in a quite, rural setting, with mountain views all around. My family and I spent most of our time on the spacious wrap around porch, both day and night-time - great for star gazing. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out.

We had no issues with the property at all, great views and enough room for the whole family.I would of liked to have been informed about the construction on the the street, if I would of known, I would of probably had reconsider staying here. Weaking up to the sound of heavy equipment every morning and dealing with one way detours every time we went out was frustrating.
Great location, plenty of space & amenities for our 2 under 5 months up to age 57, & we lacked nothing during our stay! It was a perfect layout for my husband & I, our son’s family with 4 kids (they used the lower level space the most) & our daughter & her little one. Kids’ games & toys were a big hit, & the balcony was used every day for meals & enjoyment!
The property was beautiful and spacious. Gorgeous views out of every window, and the littles loved running around the house on the deck. We had a wonderful week!!
This was the most family friendly well stocked propetyy that we have ever stayed at. All of the amenities snd extras were so appreciated. Location was amazing,
playground close by and we saw elk in the neighborhood.
Amazing views in this beautiful home. Very spacious and close to everything but far enough to really to enjoy the outdoors. The family had an amazing time. Would highly recommend
The property is amazing! Spacious with a great location and wonderful views. Sharron was quick to respond to messages and a thoughtful host. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay for the week with family.
Property was accurately described. Roomy place good for family gathering. No problems during our stay. Nice views from the big deck!

Thanks Scott! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, and appreciate you taking such good care of our home while you were there. You and your family are welcome back any time.
This was our first time in Estes Park and it was great. We’re from Louisiana/Mississippi and are not use to snow or the cold temperatures but we had a blast. The house was great and perfect for our family of 10.
Our family had a great stay at the Carriage House. There was plenty of room for 9 of us and extra air mattresses provided as well. Had some trouble getting in at first but the owners were very helpful. Easy drive to town or RMNP. Thanks!
Nice big house for my family of 8 plus a baby. They had everything you need to make yourself at home. They also had toys for kids, pack-n-plays, and a high chair. Very spacious. Beautiful veiws from the deck. Seen a few deer walking through the property as well.
House was large and served our needs being close to RNP. Had an issue with hot water, but owner quickly took care of it. Carpeting needs serious cleaning or replacing but furnishings were nice. Overall good!
Great area. House was fine, it had everything we needed although it could use a little updating. Everyone said the beds were comfortable so 5 stars there. The upstairs TV was not working but really didn’t miss it. Contacted the host and she responded very quickly. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us so the Lego toys were a hit😊. I would stay again.
This house was great for our group of 9. It included a very large lay out and gave us plenty of room for cooking in and eating in or outside. My husband and I brought our two sons and 5 college football players and we felt comfortable and not smushed. It is a quick trip to the Rockies which was the main reason for our stay. On our last hike we had a very close encounter with a moose and all loved it. The only reason for the 4 was that it was a bit dated and one of the boys reported a mouse in the downstairs basement. We understand that happens but yuck.
