The cozy flat is in a detached typical stone-built farmhouse with only two flat. The flat has an exclusive nice garden and portico and gazebo, with entrance that open onto the garden. The house is furnished with romantic rustic furniture, windows are with blackout curtains and mosquito nets. There is a bedroom with double bed closed with a curtain, the living room with a sofa-bed, the kitchen and the bathroom. The house has air conditioning , TV and washing machine . All inclusive: Wi-Fi, electricity, water, linen, towels.
The house is close to Lucca (20 km) and Pisa (30 km) and Firenze (100 km).
It is easily accessible, highway is at 5 km. The access road ends at the house and parking free is near the house or about 50-80 meters away.
House forniture:
The bathroom is well equipped with large shower, sink, bidet and toilet, and hair dryer. The wood kitchen is modern with a breakfast counter, it is fully equipped with 4 induction cookers, extractor fan, pots and pans, dishes, refrigerator-freezer, etc..and microwave.
Outside the House:
The peaceful garden with the gazebo and the veranda are beautiful private spaces where you can relax and have breakfast and you can enjoyed of the flowers and butterflies, and the herbs wonderful for cooking. It are well equipped with parasol, table, chairs and loungers, and clotheshorse.
Overview:
It is near beaches (12km) are for all your needs, just south of Viareggio you find the Natural Parks of Massaciuccoli, Migliarino - S. Rossore . If you like walking or cycling, you are close to the via Francigena and many paths.
Grocery- butchers shop, restaurant and bar are about 500m. Facilities and shops are about 3 km away (Stiava, Massarosa).
Good restaurants are in the nearby village of Montemagno (4 km) and Camaiore.
From Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi you can find shops, nightlife and cultural events. Torre del Lago Puccini (16 km) and Pieve a Elici are famous for Music and Opera Seasons.

Lovely stay at the cozy stone house

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy stone house. Upon arrival we noticed that our host Donatella had organized new towels/blankets and matress for the sunbeds. The washing machine was broken on arrival, but exchanged/fixed on next working day. The area is very quiet, relaxing and beautiful. To get to the house is a bit challenging, if you drive a bigger car on the country roads of Tuscany. In any case we have enjoyed our stay and the terrific view to the coast line of Viareggio, etc...

Nice house on the hills of Massarosa

A wonderful place to relax in Tuscany. Luca, Pisa and Florence are within easy reachable as well as nature away from the tourist attractions. The flat in the stone house is very pleasant, especially on very hot days. Everything you need is available. The house has a beautiful terrace with plenty of space. Donatella is a very lovely hostess. Very nice, I can only recommend it. Kind regards, Wolfgang from Germany.

Overall it was a good vacation

The apartment was clean, we didn’t need a air condition at all. If you want escape from crowded places, this will be a very good choice. You have the good top view at the city near the beach. We were in May, so the weather was rainy and sunny, so we could visit kulturell points and enjoy the see and swim. The hostess is a very nice person and is flexible, so we could arrange one or another points at the place. Many, many thanks for warm welcome

Paradise in the mountains

I found this beautiful place by coincidence and i can easily say, that this on is one of the most extraordinary places where i have been to. If you are looking for a calm and quite place to stay, whre you have no noise from cars or other people, this will be for you. One thing to consider is the way to the house, which is very narrow and steep, but it is totally possible. The house as such is all in all very clean and neatly, where you will find everything you need, to have a good stay. Yes, there is no oven and no AC but this was not a problem at all for us. The bathroom was also extremely clean and modern. The outer part of the house is also a really awesome aspect, because you will find a very wide and atmospheric view over the valley. You can easily see Viareggio, Pisa, for example, which was quite astonishing! The location of the house is up in the hills, so its not that close to the beach(es), BUT with a car it doesn´t take long to get there. And also the distances to other cities like Lucca, Pisa or even Firence (by train) are not too far away. And also the host was always really kind and wanted to give us some information abput the cities or the beaches for example. This helped us a lot, because you can do so many things in this region. It is always good, to know locals ;). I can totally recommend the house for anyone who is into the information mentioned above :-)

Un très bon séjour

Un très bon séjour chez Donatella qui est vraiment a nos petits soins. L'endroit est calme, à noter toutefois que nous logeons dans une vieille maison avec les avantages et inconvénients que cela peut avoir, les locataires du dessous entendront généreusement ceux du dessus, il faut souhaiter dans ce cas, avoir le même rythme de vie de vacances😊 A part ça, tout etait parfait !

Gelungener Urlaub

Insgesamt war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Ein typisches kleines Steinhäuschen oben auf dem Berg. Die Anfahrt ist nicht ganz optimal, da es sehr eng und kurvig ist, dafür hat man eine super Aussicht und man hat seine Ruhe. Die Ausstattung hätte etwas besser sein können, man hatte keinen Ofen, keine Mikrowelle und auch keinen Toaster. Klimaanlage gab es auch noch nicht, aber man wusste sich trotzdem irgendwie zu helfen. Die Fliegengitter waren sehr notdürftig an die Fenster gemacht, daher sind trotzdem einige Tierchen durchgekommen. Die Größe der Wohnung war absolut ausreichend und es war sehr gemütlich. Die Matratze war unseres Erachtens etwas zu hart, aber das ist geschmackssache. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat sich bemüht, dass alles passt. Was natürlich auch super ist, dass man wirklich schnell in gewissen Städten und am Strand ist. War also ein schöner Urlaub.

This holiday is a good place to get value for money - you can't expect to have air conditioning, microwave oven, etc. if they are not indicated in the characteristics of the house ... and the price is proportionate. The double bed mattress is new and orthopedic. After all, the roads in the mountains are winding... but the views are beautiful! I hope you'll come back. I have already planned to install air conditioning and a microwave oven.

Geheimtipp für Toskanaliebhaber

Ein kleines, authentisches Häuschen mit phantastischem Garten: der Jasmin und vieles andere hat geblüht, abends kamen blinkende Glühwürmchen angeflogen, der Blick reichte von den Bergen bis in die Ebene hinunter. Ausflugsziele wie Lucca, Pisa, das Meer und die apuanischen Alpen sind sehr nah. Donatella, die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett. Alles in allem: perfekt für Naturliebhaber.

Danke für das Kompliment! Auch Sie waren entzückende Gäste, dann haben Sie dezent Italienisch gesprochen ... und das hat uns sicherlich geholfen. Es ist wahr, dass der Garten einen Blick auf die Hügel und den See hat, in Richtung Meer verstecken die großen Pinien und Steineichen ihn, aber Sie müssen nur auf die Straße gehen (es sind praktisch nur wir), um einen 180 ° zu sehen Panorama des Tyrrhenischen Meeres: die Küstenlinie von Ligurien bis Pisa durch die Inseln Korsika, Gorgona und Capraia. Ich hoffe, Sie kommen wieder!

Zauberhaft und sehr sauber!

In dem atmosphärischen Studio mit wunderschön duftendem Garten, toller Aussicht und einem einmalig gutem Bett (!) habe ich mich in einer Woche super erholt! Für den Strandtag steht ein Sonnenschirm zur Verfügung und Donatella versorgt ihre Gäste mit allen notwendigen Informationen ... Grazie Mille!

Alles Pefekt...die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit schönem Ausblick...die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet und sauber...das Bett bequem...schöne Terrasse mit Ausblick ins Tal..der Garten schön bepflanzt unter anderem mit vielen Kräutern...Parkplatz direkt am Haus...die obere Wohnung war während unserem Aufenthalt nicht belegt...die Vermieterin Donatella steht für alle Fragen zur Verfügung (@Donatella; grazie mille)...Bar Restaurant und Alimentari sind in ca. 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar...zum (auch freien) Strand ca. 25 min...wer Ruhe sucht und ein paar Kurven nicht scheut ist hier genau richtig....

Bezaubernder Mittelmeer- und Toskanablick

Eine sehr abgelegene aber zauberhafte Ferienwohnung in mitten der toskanischen Bergwelt. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die umliegende Bergwelt, auf die Städte und teilweise auf das Mittelmeer. Die Ferienwohnungen selbst ist gut ausgestattet, hat ein Doppelbett, ein Einzelbett, eine kleine Küche sowie ein modernes Badezimmer. Von der Ferienwohnung aus sind es etwa 20 min zum freizugänglichen Strand von Viareggio.

ländliches Idyll am Berghang

Sehr schönes Haus (ein Wohnraum), paradiesischer Garten. Ruhe und Schönheit. Man darf sich nicht am Anfahrtsweg stören (ca. 30 Minuten nach Lucca, nach Viareggio, ans Meer), fußläufig erreichbar ist eine sehr nette Pizzeria/Bistecceria.

Uns wurde die untere von zwei Wohnungen zugewiesen. Und da waren einige Dinge so gar nicht o.k.! So wurde z.B. ein Doppelbett angekündigt,welches aber nur 1,20 m breit ist. Für zwei Erwachsene unmöglich, erholsam zu schlafen. Das Einzelbett mit einer Breite von 80 cm konnte man jedoch nicht mit dem "Doppelbett" kombinieren,da es um einiges höher war. Die Dusche war verstopft, so dass das Wasser im Becken stand. Das war sehr unhygienisch! Handtücher wurden bereit gestellt. 2 große und zwei kleine für zweieinhalb Wochen!! Es gab keinen Kleiderschrank sondern ein Stoffgestell an das man nur sehr schwer ran kam, da es im Bad unter einer Nische stand. Zudem war es sehr hellhörig!!! Die Toilette war direkt über unserem Bett, was nachts besonders unangenehm war. Wir hatten für zweieinhalb Wochen gebucht und bezahlt, sind aber nach der zweiten Nacht abgereist, da der Erholungswert für uns absolut nicht gegeben war. Leider!

Evidently this guest did not read the description on the website, in fact as it is written: the bed is a square and a half and can be joined to the single one, if desired (height difference: 5 cm). No one had complained it, but now the beds are at the same height. The linen provided is for one week, only if requested is provided the change (5 euros per person!). The wardrobe is 120x 60, essential but washable and hygienic, also there is a large wood dresser with 5 drawers and a trunk. The ceiling is well insulated with wood and cork, as you have seen. About water, there was a problem with the municipal sewer, quickly fixed, I said you it. I am sorry that you have had your problems.

a home away from home

We, as a couple have stayed at Donatellas beautiful house for a week. It was meant to be the longest and most relaxing stay during our trip to Italy. The minute we got out of the car and met Donatella at the location we felt very warm welcomed. Donatella was a really nice and considerate host and her cute little house is beyond beautiful. Everything was clean and well equipped. The free beach, supermarket and destinations for having food, aperitivo or just doing some sightseeing are all reachable by car very easily. In our opinion, the view is one of the best things about this location, absolutely breathtaking. You have a panorama view over the hills and lakes up to the sea and horizon. We would definitely come back for maybe an even longer stay. Thank you very much Donatella!

Wonderfull stay in a clean house with a beautiful view!

We had a great time at La Tanaia ground. The house keeps relatively cool even on the hottest days of the summer. The garden gives you the best possibility to relax in a peaceful surrounding. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. If we had to name one little blemish it would be the bed which is a little bit too narrow for two people. Donatella is a very friendly host. She really takes care of her guests and makes sure that they feel at home. A big plus is the location of the house. It is located in a tiny village on a hillside from where you have a perfect view at the surrounding landscape.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem sehr ruhigen kleinen Dorf, das über eine Serpentinenstraße erreichbar ist. Trotzdem sind viele Orte (z. B. freier Sandstrand, Pietrasanta, Lucca) mit dem Auto in weniger als 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus hat einen authentischen rustikalen Stil mit Steinmauern, die es auch an sehr heißen Tagen relativ kühl halten. Der Garten bietet eine fantastische Aussicht und bietet viel Schatten und Kräuter zum Kochen.

Furthermore the house is on a hill 200 meters above the sea and therefore the climate is cooler and less humid than near the sea. .. Of course the roads are a bit winding in Tuscany because the mountains are steep. See you next year!

Posto meraviglioso e tranquillo

Abbiamo potuto passare quasi 10 giorni in questo posto meraviglioso e tranquillo. Al nostro arrivo la proprietaria ci ha accolti molto calorosamente e ci ha fatto vedere bene tutta la struttura, dandoci tante informazioni anche riguardo spiaggie, ristoranti ecc. Nel miniappartamento sono disponibili tutti gli attrezzi necessari per un breve soggiorno, cucina ben attrezzata, asciugamani e pannicelli puliti ecc. I materassi del letto sono confortevoli, peró purtroppo il letto francese risulta piccolo e malposizionato per poter far dormire comodamente 2 persone adulte. Tutto sommato sono state vacanze belle e indimenticabili.

Grazie Monika, anche io trovo piccolo il letto alla francese, infatti è possibile affiancare il letto singolo che è sempre con la biancheria, anche se gli ospiti sono solo due come nel vostro caso. Cari saluti e buona vita!

Schöne kleine Ferienwohnung auf dem Berg durch Serpentinen erreichbar. Toller Ausblick und Terrassen im Mittelmeerflair. Sind dort gewandert. Tolles Lokal in Massarosa. Wetter war gut. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Nette Nachbarn gerne wieder

Perfekt zum Entspannen!

Wir haben hier zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von unserer Vermieterin Donatella empfangen - sie hatte uns im Vorfeld mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Garten und die Aussicht sind einfach traumhaft. Für Ruhesuchende genau das Richtige.

You will understand why it is a special place: the nature surrounding the house, the peace and privacy of the small garden full of flowers and herbs, the spectacular view. It is the typical Tuscan country house but with all the comforts, without traffic because the road ends at the house, but at 500 meters from the main of local shops.
