'Can Pau' (Sa Vinya Vella) is a lovely and quiet villa where you can feel the nature of the Mediterranean countryside located just 1km. to the relaxing beaches of Sant Pere and Sant Joan of Alcudia (Bay of Pollensa).



Can Pau is a refurbished traditional Majorcan house with garden, fruit tree area, a cosy pool and terraces. It was just built on June 2008 keeping the essence of an original historic house.

Inside the house there are 3 Bedrooms. A main bedroom with a double bed and AC and two twin bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each one. There are two family bathrooms and a dining area next to the fully equipped kitchen. You have also a hall with a sofa area where you will find a satellite TV with International channels adn Wifi. All rooms of the house have air conditioning.



There is a porch close to the gardens and a cosy swimming pool with deck terrace to enjoy the Mediterranean way of life.



There is a second building with an outdoor dining area and breakfast area under a shadow, a BBQ, and a roost with chickens and fresh eggs.



Can Pau is located just 600 meters to the historical center of Alcudia, a Roman and medieval village plenty of cosy bars and restaurants in a quiet atmosphere.



Just 1,5 km away you´ll find Puerto de Alcudia beach, Mallorcas largest beach (12 km long) in a quiet area. The beach is just a few steps away from the apartment. From there you can walk to the marina, the port, the hotel area... everything is accessible from the beach path.

Lovely Finca in the countryside

Close to a beautiful beach 20 minutes walk in one direction passing a lovely restaurant on the way and 25 minutes walk to Alcudia old town. Very peaceful apart from the Cockerells! The WiFi isn't great and the air conditioning in the main bedroom doesn't work

Wonderful Villa near to the beach

- Pool - close to the beach - chickens (fresh eggs) - Orange and citron trees - pans could be replaced - a second cutting board - plastic cups for children - soft topper for the bed of the master bedroom - outside lamps need to be repaired, especially the outdoor lamps from main door to Villa

Great villa in a quiet location close to Alcudia Old Town

We stayed in Can Pau Villa for 1 week. The villa was clean and comfortable and had most of the basics for our holiday. The villa is positioned in a quiet location, almost at the end of a little lane, not too far from Alcudia Old Town and the local beach which we used - Sant Joan. We used the car to get to the Old Town and the beach, both of which were 5 mins in the car, although you could walk, we guess this would be 20-30 min walk. The beach is used more by locals and therefore tended to be quieter than the main Alcudia beach, although it is a small beach. There is a market in the Old Town on Sunday's and Tuesday's which is worth a visit, with a good mixture of souvenirs, leather goods, clothes, bakery stall, fruit and veg stalls. Plenty of places to eat in the Old Town as well and a large free car park next to the Roman ruins. We took a boat trip from near by Pollensa on a 12 person Rib to see the mystical Blue Cave and stopped for a swim in a cove only accessible by boat - the water was clear and good for snorkelling. We saw lots of urchins and fish. The coast line around the area is beautiful. The air conditioning in the bedrooms of the villa was great and it was furnished with everything that you would need. The only thing we felt would have improved the villa experience would be to provide basic non food items such as kitchen roll, kitchen foil/cling film, spare toilet paper rolls or if previous renters have left these items, for them not to be removed on cleaning so that the next renters can use them. We had to go and buy these items even though we were only staying 1 week. Other than that, the villa was great surrounded by lovely gardens, pool lovely, fresh eggs daily from the chickens if you like, and subject to the time of year lemons and oranges growing in the garden too. We would recommend the villa and location. You could manage without a car but having one made life easier. Thanks for a lovely villa which made for a short relaxing break for us.

Beautiful finca close to the beach

The quiet and beautiful location, space around and inside the house, perfectly cleaned pool, cozy veranda, comfortable beds. The drain of the shower inside the house was clogged. Fortunately there was a second bathroom. The kitchen and couches could use some renovation.

Traumhafte Ruhe und viel Platz

Tolles Ferienhaus mit toller Aussenanlage. Super ruhig und entspannt, trotzdem nahe an Alcudía Altstadt.Kleiner Pool, Zitronenbäume, Olivenbäume, alles was man sich wünscht.Der einzige "Aufreger" ist der Weg zum Ferienhaus. Die Strasse ist teilweise relativ schmal und fordert etwas Konzentration.

Perfekter Rückzugsort

Die Finca besticht durch ihre hervorragende Lage und bietet einen idealen Rückzugsort inmitten der Natur. Die gesamte Anlage, einschließlich des Pools, ist in einem exzellenten Zustand und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit und Pflege, die man überall spürt – ein perfekter Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnten verbessert werden: Der Föhn in der Finca hatte ein leicht beschädigtes Gehäuse und könnte möglicherweise einen E-Check nicht bestehen. Auch ist die Zufahrt zur Finca nur über eine recht schmale Straße möglich, was bei größeren Mietwagen etwas herausfordernd sein kann, da kein Gegenverkehr möglich ist.

Relaxing week at Finca Can Pau

Really loved this property it fitted with what we like, quiet, spacious and not to far away from everything. We only had a small problem with the Air conditioning leaking but the owner arrived 1 hr after I reported it and managed to fix it. The hot water needs a little planning as the tanks aren't very big so it means staggering showers. A hire car is a must for this property. The Hot water could be improved. The oven has no symbols on the dials and this makes it difficult to use.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Villa ist hübsch, die Hühner freundlich. Die Küche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte einen neuen Herd, eine neue Kaffeemaschine und bessere Beleuchtung vertragen. Für kühlere Tage unbedingt was Warmes mitnehmen, es gibt keine Heizung. Die Mitarbeiter der Agentur waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.
