Clean and well kept property. Odd layout for larger group in that bathrooms are only accessible via 2 bedrooms. We did not really use the kitchen, but it appeared well stocked. It is obvious the owners take pride in the property. It's a great place, depending on your purpose and needs.

This is an absolutely beautiful property- it has historic charm with modern decor and amenities. Everything was in excellent condition and the hosts were thoughtful and attentive to details. We were welcomed with mints on the nightstand and bottled water. The King size beds were comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The property is within walking distance to downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. One thing to note- there is no communal bathroom- both of the bathrooms are off of a bedroom. However, this was not a problem, even for our party of 6 women. We had an excellent stay and would love to return in the future!

House is stocked with everything we needed for a several weeks stay - great home base for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the front porch - sitting out and watching the sun rise, and the deer wandering the neighborhood in the evenings. A short stroll to downtown Decorah. Laundry on site was super helpful, and we had room for a couple guests to spend a few nights with us. Ten out of ten!
