The cottage is situated in a lovely village with a good pub, and is only a short car ride into Buxton. We stayed in no.2 for 3 nights which worked well for exploring the surrounding hills on our mountain bikes. The cottage was clean and tidy and well equipped for catering, however, it was a shame that the large screen TV was not a Smart TV which is pretty standard in holiday cottages these days.
A very well furnished cottage in the heart of the Peak district
We really enjoyed our short break at this cottage. It's in a lovely position in a village with an abundance of local walks. It's very well furnished with everything you need in the kitchen and the bonus of a washing machine plus two ensuites which are a nice perk and particularly useful for a family.
