About the host
Hosted by Shealagh Blake
Hi, I am Shealagh, I went to school in Brecon and my family still live in the area, although I moved away for over 25yrs. I know the area well and live and work nearby during the summer so am always on hand to give advice and solve problems. We had a successful summer last year renting through another well know web site with great reviews.
Why they chose this property
Our home is ideally situated in a quiet residential area. We are just 1km from Brecon town centre, an easy walk or there is a local bus service. Lovely walks right on our doorstep through the Groves and alongside the river, and just a short drive to many of the attractions the Breacon Beacons have to offer, mountain climbing, cycling, canoeing, lakes, caves, local markets etc. Brecon town centre has many artisan shops, cafes, bars restaurants, also a weekly indoor market.
What makes this property unique
The house is south facing so the garden is a real sun trap, small but very private and quiet, fabulous views of the Beacons mountains from the lounge
