Sunset Chaser is a pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom beach cottage with a pool in Del Haven on the bay side of Cape May County. A short walk to the Delaware Bay beach and Norbury's Landing for spectacular sunsets, and a short drive to Cape May and Wildwood.

It's a place where the bikes outnumber the cars, the beach is never crowded, and the sunsets are always spectacular. No big hotels, no boardwalk, no traffic lights, and nothing but seagrass lining the street on the way to the beach.

Sunset Chaser sleeps 5 in beds (king, queen, twin) and 6 with a foldout (mattress topper and fitted sheet included). No bunks! We also have a Pack & Play with mattress pad and sheet for little guests.

Linens and towels (bath, kitchen, beach, etc.) are not provided, but we can connect you with a local linen service if requested. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, inside or outside.

If you want to escape the crowds, traffic, and noise but stay close enough that you can jump in when you're ready, you'll love Sunset Chaser!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's sweet 16th birthday. The house was really cute; loved how close we were to beach. It was great having everything we needed for the beach at the house so we didn't have to pack. Would def stay again!

Great Family Vacation Spot

Beautiful home and surrounding area. Quiet and clean neighborhood, with lots to do within a short distance. Owners very communicative and helpful. The pool on the backyard was the perfect way to cool off during the heat wave. Great spot! Highly recommend!

Chill week

Finally took a much needed vacation and stayed at the sunset chaser. Quiet neighborhood and a comfy little house that was the perfect size for us. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool as weather was a bit cool and rainy during our stay but was super clean and well maintained.Was awesome to have outdoor seating and the grill to cook up some food between the rain. Comfy couch and nice TV with good WiFi.Would recommend to others.

A great vacation spot!

Wow, We had a great time at the Sunset chaser. The house is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The pool is amazing to keep the kids busy after a great day at the beach. The location is very convenient, approx 20 min from Cape May beach and same for Wildwood. And for those who only want to read on the beach, there is the bay at a walking distance. In short, the house is perfectly thought for a perfect beach gateway. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our vacation!

Nice little pet friendly cottage

We liked the cottage as it was a good size for us and our 2 westies. Pretty well outfitted but no dishwasher nor iron/ board. Beds were comfortable as was the sectional in living room. Nice area close to bay , yet not that far to actual Cape May Atlantic beaches or WagingtonMall and many great dining spots. Owner super responsive .

Quiet Cape May

Cozy bayside cottage, exactly as described and perfect size for our family of four and fur baby. Excellent communication with host, who checked in with us multiple times during our stay. They even let us check in early and gifted a bottle of wine to enjoy on the deck. Nice backyard oasis was very convenient with little kids, after spending the afternoon at the beach we spent the evening in the pool. The garage space was nice to have to get out of the sun and play a board game. It is a bit of a walk to the bay and not an area of being able to swim in the bay as it’s more muddy, but you can take a short drive further down the bay or to the beach. We did have a tick on one of the kids so be sure to check if your doing any walking in the area. Plenty of parking spaces. The neighborhood was very quiet. Friendly neighbors. A great spot I highly recommend to check out nearby is sunset beach, spectacular views at sun down. Would definitely stay here again.

The McKelvey family feels right at home in a quiet beach cottage on a dead-end street. We love nightly walks to the bay beach to see spectacular sunsets, and we love being close to the beaches of Cape May and the Wildwood boardwalk. Favorite local restaurants so far: Harpoon's on the Bay (13 minutes), Exit Zero Filling Station (15 minutes), Castaway Cafe (2 minutes), Little Danny's Ice Cream (2 minutes).

Why they chose this property

There aren't many hidden gems along the water in New Jersey, but the bay area of Cape May County still qualifies. The McKelvey family fell so hard for Villas and Del Haven during a recent vacation that they decided to buy a little cottage close to the bay. We hope you'll enjoy Sunset Chaser as much as they do!
