The only problem I had was that the water wasn't working but the hosts did nake accommodations for us to shower at the property next door and was very good about communicating. The house and property were beautiful
The place was lovely. Would have liked it closer to town but it was stated in the listing it was 10 miles away. The only suggestion I would make is to put in your listing that a fishing license may be required to fish. We loved the cleanliness of the cabin and the decor. We will definitely like to rent again when we plan to go there again.
What a peaceful place to stay! It is a little remote, but you are only 15-20 minutes from town! If you want comfortable and tranquil this is a fantastic place to stay. The host, Sonya, was very informative and quick to respond to questions.
Nice little cabin close to lots of trails. Great for 1-2 people. Beautiful yard and area to walk dogs, soft bed and functional mini kitchen. Would be perfect with a little better water pressure and blankets.

Great peaceful property with a beautiful creek. We will definitely be back
Love the location of this property. The creek was exactly what I was looking for. Felt private, even off a major highway with a cabin next door. We had everything we needed. Hike at Max Patch was icing on the cake!
Great cabin close to town of Hot Springs. Easy to get to and exactly as described. Was perfect for the night while in town for a cycling event. Will be back! Thanks!

One the main reason we booked here was for the fence yard and that I saw others note about the property. There is no longer a fence. Also if you book one there is a 2 home on the property. Note

Nice small place. Loved staying here. Would definitely stay there again. Got to go into the creek behind the cottage. Would recommend!
Just enough room for the two of us and we really enjoyed the creek out back. Bonus that it’s pet friendly. We would definitely stay again, if in the area.
This place was absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Had all the amenities we needed for a four day stay including dishwashing liquid, paper towels, etc. Our host answered within minutes and helped answer any and all questions. We will definitely go back.
We had a great stay. Too bad it was just for one night as we would have enjoyed being there longer and my husband wished he had brought his fishing rod. It was a perfect size for us and the fenced back yard was a plus for our dogs! Very relaxing. Owner very easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks again!!
This is a cozy little cabin about halfway between Hot Springs and Trust. With the windows open we could hear the creek. Is was very convenient for us to let the dogs out in the fenced yard. I like a shower with a hand shower head so that was a definite plus. If you will be eating all you meals in Hot Springs, as we did, it is an 8 mile drive back and forth on a curving mtn road. The smokey Mountain diner is yummy for breakfast. Would stay again.
Moms of teenagers needed to get away for one night. It was so perfect! The fire pit and creek were absolutely what we were looking for. The house had all the amenities and was super comfortable. Sonya was very responsive and we had no issues whatsoever. I could see it being a great place for a couple with a small dog or, like for us, just friends that needed a night off. Loved it!
We have stayed here many times over the past few years. We also knew the previous owners. My only suggestion would be to have an extra set of bedding for the fold out couch and pillowcases for the extra pillows. (maybe I missed the part about bringing extra for the couch) But everything was absolutely wonderful otherwise. Sonya was very quick in responding to any questions that I had.

Response from VrboOwner on 5 June 2023
Hi Nancy,
Our apologies for the extra bedding mishap. There should have been sheets and blankets there for the pull put sofa. I will definitely speak with our cleaning person. I wish you would have contacted me I would have had them delivered to you. Again thank you for staying with us and hope to have you in the future.
This home provided a safe place for me and my dog while we explored the Hot Springs area. Not too many host homes provide a fenced in yard, so this was awesome to have! The creek in the backyard has moderate rushing water with a deep pool area; however, the little knats swarming about was a bit much to sit and enjoy the creek. This may be a seasonal thing (June). The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The drive to Hot Springs took about 25 minutes (driving at speed limit or just below it). Lastly, cooking is not ideal here, but warming food on the stove top is just fine. I was hesitant to use the oven because it's gas, and I did not see proper ventilation. We went into Hot Springs to eat our meals and they were delicious!
