About this property

Beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bath home on East Twin Lake!

This home has been completely renovated, and was new to the market in summer 2023! The location on East Twin is perfect. Flat and shallow entrance to the water with a beautiful sandy bottom for swimming or water games. There is easy boat access. East Twin is a premier All Sports lake in Northern Michigan. It is ~830 acres, and boasts excellent fishing! Lewiston is central to snowmobile/UTV trails, state land, and 4 Championship golf courses! It can be an easy day trip to wineries, and all to the amenities that Northern Michigan offers. The property is walking distance to a park with a beach and playground. It is also a quick stroll into town for coffee, shopping, and restaurants.

This unique property is a duplex layout, but we only rent it as a full house, 4B/2B home. The two sides mirror each other, so it can either be private space with it's own locked entrance, or together space with interior doors opened so guests can easily move between sides. Each side has a family room/couch area, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The family room includes a dining area and smart TV (which you will need your own credentials to log in). The master bedroom is a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen over queen bunk. Each unit will sleep 5 adults comfortably, or 6 if there are children. The outside space is also set up like a duplex with two dining areas and two firepits, We provide a gas grill and extra chairs for additional seating. There is a dock available, so bring your boat or kayak if you want to explore this beautiful, clear lake.

The laundry/utility room connects the units inside, and is available for guest use.

There is an exterior camera set up for security purposes as well.

We were in town for a family wedding. The house was very clean and had everything you needed. My kids jumped off the dock all day and we rented a boat. The host was great and answered all of my questions. Would definitely book again!!

Great place on the lake!

This was a great property for our ten person friend group. The house is newly renovated with some nice touches. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway in Lewiston!

Great Weekend Getaway

Stayed here for a lowkey bro's weekend and had a blast. For an additional fee we were able to rent the owners boat and chill on the lake. The cabin was super clean and the community was awesome. It was nice to chill in such a tranquil town with so much character.

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a great long weekend at this house (we rented both sides for our entire family). It’s VERY clean and decorated beautifully. Lake front and view is gorgeous!! Great location… close to the beach and the little town! Communication with host was great. Highly recommend this property.

Getaway on East Twin Lake

The property and location for our stay was amazing. The house was clean, comfortable, roomy, and had everything we could need. We rented both sides of the duplex for our family of five and it was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive and gave us clear instructions for renting. It is only a couple minutes walk to downtown and the lake, right out the back door was beautiful and relaxing. Truly an idyllic location.

Fabulous stay and livin the Lake Life

We absolutely loved our stay in the home, enjoyed being right on the lake, the views and lake are fabulous. We rented the entire home, it was nice to have a separation between the two sides of the house to allow privacy and quiet when needed, yet come together as a family to share time and make memories. Family summer vacation

Fantastic stay in Lewiston on East Twin lake. Great accommodations with a duplex set up - one generation on one side, another on the other side. East Twin lake was a great lake - clean with sandy bottom. We took advantage of the pontoon and made morning and nightly cruises around the lake. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to town but we felt secluded with a very quite private feel to the back yard lake side. First trip to Lewiston and it was awesome.

Duplex layout worked great for our group.Two kitchens and two living rooms, one living room for adults and one for the kids. Used one sofa and floor space for a sleeping pad for the youngest children. Dock had room for pontoon boat and a fishing boat. Everything was in good condition.

Lewiston Wedding

We rented the entire property. We were in town for a family wedding in Lewiston. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so we really didn't get to enjoy the full potential of this property. It was very clean and beautiful though. I would stay again if I had a need to be in the area. It was exactly as the VRBO write-up stated. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property.

Amazing!!!

This was a perfect spot for two families, big enough for us to each have our own side with an adjoining door. Everything new and clean!!! Back patio, backyard, laundry, beds comfy, dock. Amazing! We brought our own two boats, launched them local and drove them over, docked right at the house. We had kids ages 7-19 years and they all had a blast! We would definitely stay again. Grocery store one mile away as well as ice cream! Thanks so much to hosts!!!

Lovely weekend!

We had a great stay on East twin lake! This property is gorgeous, really the pictures don’t do it justice. Outside we set up volleyball during the day and campfires at night! Kids went swimming also :) katie was nice to let us rent her pontoon last minute, which made the trip even more fun! The hosts were easy to get ahold of and really friendly! The inside was very clean and very up to date. We liked that the units were together for separate, it made it perfect for our two families. We slept 10 people comfortably! The lake itself is big, nice for fishing in the mornings, and not too busy! I would highly recommend For a fun family getaway.

Really enjoyed our stay for a girls weekend! Even though it’s a duplex, it’s really conveniently connected so we didn’t feel separated. Unfortunately it was really hazy with bad air quality from the Canadian wildfires so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake. But we did really enjoy hanging together in the house! The convenience of how close it was downtown was amazing! It was great not to have to nominate one of us as a DD to go to Talley’s for dinner one night. Definitely would return.

House was clean and kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Outside space with tables, chairs and grill easily accommodated 6 adults and five children. Inside was okay for breakfast and lunch but would have been tight for a sit down meal but we did not need it. Lake access was wonderful for young children, paddle boarding, swimming and enough docking for a pontoon and small fishing boat .

We had a cottage in lower Michigan when our kids were young. We had a great core group of friends that used to come to the lake with us all summer, and we watched our kids grow up together. We developed a true appreciation for Lake Life and Michigan! We started exploring Northern Michigan and discovered Lewiston through friends. We found ourselves coming up more and more, and eventually found an opportunity to get two of the original core families together to share this property. We hope to make this a slice of paradise for our guests, so they can make lasting memories like we have living the Lake Life.

Why they chose this property

We rent VRBOs when we travel. We love the space, the privacy, and the comfort of being in a well cared for home vs hotel rooms. We know what makes a rental feel like a true vacation, and this house meets all of our criteria. It’s clean, well appointed, comfortable and so perfectly located to the lake and all amenities!

What makes this property unique

You just cannot beat the location whether your passion is boating, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, golfing or just relaxing with friends and/or family. It's also nice to have a little privacy, and the duplex arrangement gives just a little separation. Who doesn't like having their own coffee pot in morning?!
