This Villa Madeira unit will become your vacation destination year after year! This beautiful 4th floor condo has a large, screened in balcony facing the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The views are breathtaking from all areas of this unit. What a great place to spend your morning sipping coffee or reading the paper! The kitchen has been beautifully updated and is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, and all the comforts of home. Come relax, you'll never want to leave. The décor is coastal and comfortable plus the den can be used as another small bedroom. The master bath has been renovated with a large walk-in shower. The guest bathroom features a tub shower combo. You are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. Wireless Internet Available. The condo was as expected from photos and well kept. We stayed during exterior renovations so there was some very early construction noises with scaffolding at times right outside the balcony and some of the sun deck lounge amenities were still under construction. The beach was great and combed daily with plenty of space. We would highly recommend after renovations are completed.

This condo is in a great location with most gorgeous view of the sunsets ever! The condo is very comfortable and the kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately there was a construction going on and both restrooms by the pool were out of service. Otherwise the property is nicely maintained, the elevator works and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is perfect and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great place

We all had a great time. The place was perfect for us and location great. That elevator key thing is very annoying however. Enjoyed the lanai and walk in shower and our bed was great.

Relaxing & peaceful stay

The view is amazing. Less then a mile away from John’s Pass. Elevator is slow and was broken one day during our stay. Condo was very clean and the cleaning manager came to check on us the second day we were there. I hit the spot for our much needed rest and relaxing vacation.

Great place to stay!

At first arrival it wasn’t as pristine as the pictures, nothing serious just a couple rough paint jobs but we quickly fell in love with the condo and didn’t even notice the pant chips here and there. The beach was fantastic and so close. The pool was a hit and so refreshing. The condo is safe and secure as you have to have a key in order to use the elevator or go to the beach. The condo was clean and well stocked. We would definitely say here again!

Beautiful Property

We had an amazing stay here, the condo was beautiful and appears to be newly renovated. Perfect location for us, we visit every year down there. The only thing I will say was a hassle, was having to go to one location to get the keys, and then trying to hurry up on check out day to deliver them in time. I believe I read this system will change. Our family would love to return again! We also appreciated all the beach equipment that was in the deck closet!

Perfect vacation rental

The condo was spacious, clean and provided for all our needs appropriately. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. 'Centrally located to everything food, sightseeing and entertainment related. Being right on the beach, it was amazing to have coffee on the patio and watch the dolphins feed each morning. Some units had sliding screens that would be preferred for photo opts. The screens were nice but did distort photos. Our host thoughtfully checked to ensure all was working well for us during our stay. We would definitely go back to Villa Madeira.

A great place to relax- excellent view

Overall loved the condo. Great location and having sand chairs, umbrella and toys available was a bonus. Condo was comfortable and great place to relax at the ocean with oceanfront view and screened in balcony was appreciated. No bugs and no worries with the little one. Only downfall was you needed a key for everything- the elevator, the stairwell, the pool, the bathroom in the pool and to get access to beach. Appreciated the security but hard with just 2 keys and 4 adults or your hands full and had to get the key. Condo had everything we needed. Overall enjoyed and would book again!

Perfect location

The location is perfect as it's an easy walk to John's Pass and other restaurants. The condo was clean and well furnished. The view from the balcony was outstanding. It was great to sit there and watch the sunsets. The pool was a little cool and was due for a cleaning. There is a patio area fronting the beach that contains lounge chairs, which allow you to feel like you're on the beach without having to deal with the sand. Also there was covered parking with a reserved space is provided for one vehicle. We had a very minor issue with one of the toilets. When brought to Resort Rentals attention they responded immediately. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

PERFECT GETAWAY

The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was nice kitchen space for the size of the unit. I love that it is so close to the beach and has a great view. The vibe was very laid back, the beach wasn't crowded at all, and is close close to John';s pass. When we had an issue with the wifi/tv quitting the resort company was very quick and very friendly in getting back to us. I saw other units in the building had screens that slid up for better viewing, but ours did not (and was actually ripped). One thing to note, the pool is very small and has a sign that says only 15 people in at a time. I am not sure if they stick to that as we went in August and there really weren't that many people there, and most of the people in the pool were families with children. I would recommend booking chair/umbrella in advance if you want them (we did) and they were set up when we arrived as they have a limited number of them along that stretch of beach.

Great Location

Great location. Could use an exhaust fan in the Master Bathroom at the sinks. Should have directions for the tvs/cable. Would be nice to not have to drive to pick up keys and drop back off which are only for gaining entry and exiting the building itself and pool area, bathrooms near pool. You get a code then after checking in for the actual condo itself. Overall the place was nice and what the pictures and description show. Walking distance to Johns Pass and other things. If staying with kids or another couple there is no TV in the other bedroom which may be nice to have. Also check the closet on the lanai before going to purchase beach items. We didnt realize the closet was for storage until too late. It had one beach chair, umbrella, tent,noodle, shovels... We had went and bought beach chairs and left them with a friend of ours who lives in St. Pete.

More expensive than other similar units, but not better.

Never experienced flying insects in this area at this time of ear, yet the porch is screened. This degrades picture taking and general viewing over the railing.. Beach accessories were limited. Kitchen accessories were OK, but there was no spatula. Showers were fine, but master rock floor was uncomfortable, and there were no grab bars (hand rails) in either For people not familiar with spectrum and all the specialty programs (like Hulu, Netflix, etc.) navigating was an irritating learning experience Most units seem to rent from one weekend to another, yet the rental agency is not open on the weekends. How thoughtless! The pick-up and key drop-off process is cumbersome since the rental office is not even in the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dear Resort Rentals and Villa Madeira Condo Association,When we booked our week vacation at Villa Madeira, June 8 - June 15, Unit 408, we did so on good faith that the accommodations would be equal to all the other years we have enjoyed our time in your properties. Unfortunately, we have found this unit to be below the high standard we have expected. The issues that we are dissatisfied with are not things one can determine from pictures on your website. We suggest that Resort Rentals consider charging a lower, discounted price for this unit rather than having a renter pay the full price ($1,740.90) for the unit until the unit is upgraded. There were many items of contention in this unit that support this, such as: Aging Air conditioner leaked water to the units below (requiring numerous visits by repairmen and other parties).Dim and insufficient lighting throughoutHigh top dining table-uncomfortable to useHeavy wooden chairs-no cushions in dining areaMaster shower - a cave with rock floorsOutdated kitchen appliancesNo garbage disposalOld style toilets small and low; probably not ADA compliantTV controls are confusing, have to use one for channels one for volume - nothing telling us how to operate these units; have to find out on your ownNo manual, guidelines or instruction sheet for operating things in the unitMaster bedroom - left side can't have but one device plugged into outlet because one is used for ceiling fan (wanted to use clock and bedlight)Four of the six lights in master bathroom were burned outNo chair in master bedroomAll lamps are old and outdatedMaster bedroom hall overhead light doesn't workIn the small front bedroom, 2 of the 3 lights are burned out in the overhead/ ceiling fan light fixtureWe expected better.We did enjoy the balcony and the view.

We are sorry to hear your feelings from your stay in this lovely condo. It is true that a mechanical issue did come up with the AC unit, however, we very quickly lined up what needed to be done to get this corrected, we are sorry for any temporary inconvenience it may have caused. If any of the lighting or bulbs were out, we do apologize for that as those things should be resolved prior to your arrival and we will be sure to take a better look at this. In the photos on our website the high top table is as shown, the dining chairs are as shown, no chair in the master bedroom is shown; the photos are accurate but if you just did not care for the furnishings then we do have other options. If you had any troubles with the TV remotes, we are sorry for that but please feel free to give us a call if you need any assistance, we are happy to help. With all of our condos being privately owned residence, it is true that many of the toilets will not be ADA compliant as these are private homes and do not have the same policies as hotels and other establishments. I see your name in our system only this one time in this condo, I am not sure what others you are comparing this unit to but it is a very nice unit that we receive good feedback on, we are sorry if it was not the right fit for you.
