About this property

Spacious Historic 1st Floor Apartment

This is a charming art deco home built in 1915. The property has been recently renovated. There are many quirks of an old New England home as well as modern upgrades like stainless steel appliances and laundry in the new bathroom.

It is a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom first floor apartment completely renovated with a historic feel of a New England home but with a lot of modern upgrades. There is one queen size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds the second bedroom, queen size pull-out sofa in the living room, a very comfortable queen size futon in the sunroom and we also have a queen size air mattress available. The sunroom can be used as a sitting room or breakfast nook as well as a private bedroom. A full size dinning room to host family get together. Old red birch and fir flooring throughout.

Access is to the entire apartment with private entrance - you will have full access to the kitchen and bathroom never needing to share it with anyone else. Please don't access any other part of the house (second floor, basement, attic space). Access to private driveway for off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles.

Contact with us is mostly through email, text and phone, in person only occasionally if you run into any issues.

Good place for the family.

Our family -- 2 teenagers and 2 adults -- stayed here for the weekend. It was a very nice apartment with plenty of space and a lovely sunroom in back. It was a bit farther out of the old town than we would have liked; but good breakfast places around and overall a great stay.

This place was amazing, it was just outside the hustle and bustle of Portland, close even to get in the city butt far enough away to relax. It was absolutely spotless and everything was in working order. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of places to eat near by. Had plenty of room inside with wonderful bedrooms and a great bathroom.

Great close location to down town area. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were not the most comfy but it was a place to rest our head. Quaint, Clean, Comfortable

This property is clean and very quaint. It is very well kept with all amenities that any group could need. The host was efficient, communicative and available for any of our needs. Location is a short distance to all that Portland has to offer and the house has a library for review of the many things to see and do. If you don’t need to be on the water or downtown to expense this is the place to check out. Highly recommend this property
