Escape to Santa Barbara for a retreat full of golden sunsets, crisp coastal air, and peaceful moments. Our inviting master suite is the perfect spot for couples to unwind, just a short walk from the beach, harbor, shops, and some of the best restaurants in town.

Relax in a comfy queen bed, enjoy a warm drink in your private fenced patio, and cozy up with your favorite shows on Netflix or a nostalgic vinyl record from our personal collection. The space also includes fast WiFi and a kitchen nook with a Brita filtering carafe, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine.

A twin bed is available for an additional charge of $20 per night. PLEASE BE SURE TO REQUEST THE TWIN BED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. If no request is made, the room will be prepared with the queen bed only.

For dog owners: we’re happy to welcome one well-behaved dog per stay. We charge $20 per dog per night. Dogs may not be left unattended in the bedroom or yard at any time. Please take your dog out to the street for all bathroom breaks (not in the yard). If you plan to bring more than one dog, please contact us before booking, as additional dogs may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for helping us keep the space clean and comfortable for all guests.

The property has two exterior security cameras: a Ring doorbell camera at the top of the stairs from the parking area and another camera at the rear patio. These cameras record outdoor areas only. No cameras are located inside the home.

My spouse and I really enjoyed our three-night stay at Hummingbird Suite. Ada and Erik are exceptional hosts: they readily accommodated our somewhat last minute-y date-change request, have prepared a very helpful binder on Santa Barbara and the surrounding area that we used daily, and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the property was very clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of Leadbetter Beach and the Santa Barbara harbor. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice stay, the hosts are very kind and communicative. The studio was nice and comfortable and the cost was reasonable. The location is very convenient -- walking distance to the waterfront and some beautiful beaches and a quick drive to downtown. Also an easy drive to Goleta and UCSB, where I was visiting my daughter.

Our stay at the suite was enjoyable and relaxing. The hosts do an excellent job providing a comfortable and welcoming stay. The suite is neat, cleanly, and nicely decorated. The suite was clean and quiet; however, there is no AC and the fan and open windows did not dissipate the heat. The kitchenette’s comprised of an electric kettle and small refrigerator. Ada and Eric are quite welcoming.
