Family time

The houses were close to the beach. Plenty of space for our family. We had everything that we needed and more. We hope to stay at this location in the future.

Overall both properties were good and the space was very accommodating for all our guests. Only downsides were the following: Agave house had dog feces on patio, a stinky dog bed in master bedroom, no toilet paper at all and master bedroom door handle was very loose. Palm house washer did not drain or spin, electric stove burners very wobbly and not even, no toilet paper at all, dining room windows leaked during rain ( had to put towels down), master bedroom patio door didn’t latch well and flew open in middle of night during rain storm, patio where hammock is flooded and we had to continuously sweep water off during rain. Both houses shared driveway flooded with about 2 inches of standing water no drainage system. Great location and great pools. Just needs some attention. Rain obviously did not help.

We booked two houses through Vrbo in Port Aransas. The houses were clean however, there were not enough towels in either house including the kitchen. The kitchens did not have ample cooking pots, pans etc. for cooking meals. The Palm house was extremely hot. Temp never went below 75. The game room in the Palm house lacked. Air Hockey table is about to fall down and the electronic game table only worked 1/2 the time. One room at Palm House had no remote Couch at Agave house had a broken back Property managers were willing to come look at the couch and check out the remote deal. However, why weren’t those things addressed before we got there? Overall our stay was average to be generous. Location is okay with an advertised 8 minute walk but I suggest you rent a golf cart especially if you have kids with you. For the cost of these rentals for 4 nights we will not book for those 2 houses again.
