Had a wonderful birthday weekend here with friends! The beds were cozy, we had everything we needed, fire pit and hot tub were great features. Highly recommend!
This simple but clean home with nice amenities is in an excellent location to explore and enjoy the hiking and beauty of the Linville Falls and Gorge area. The host were responsive and communicative. The kitchen was well stocked, and having fresh coffee there made our late arrival and first morning a dream start. Really enjoyed our stay
Very nice place. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

The place was fantastic! Our group of 5 each had our own spaces to hide away in OR gather together in the common areas comfortably. It's a nice place to relax when you aren't exploring the nearby town or checking out trails/the nearby falls. The sunroom dining table setup was the perfect space for our nightly board games/tabletop setup. For those unafraid of such critters - we saw a variety of beautiful insects out and around the house. The location itself is tranquil and lovely. Also...hot tub. 3
Literally 5 minutes to Linville Gorge! Cute and quirky little cabin. The downstairs with the other two bedrooms connects to the upstairs (main house) through stairs on the outside. Also, the cute outside dinning area is only attached by the front porch, not through the house. There were leaves and debris on the floors of that outdoor dinning area with the windows. Very responsive host with all of my questions. House was clean.
Great property! Has a rustic feel with modern updates. Property has neighbors but they are not close and you feel you are in a secluded area. Hot tube was a perfect addition. Great location for outdoor adventures! Only little issue we had was a little mouse was in the downstairs. Not a big deal as you are in the woods and that can happen. Host responded very well and was accommodating after they were made aware. Host provided quick responses and was very pleasant to work with. Family is already talking about staying there again next year.
Somewhat rustic property with everything needed. We enjoyed: two bedrooms on each level, the fire pit area, the hot tub, the dining area, and the proximity to Linville and many surrounding hikes. Great place for a weekend escape.
We absolutely loved the property! We definitely plan on renting this home again next year or maybe even in the fall! Only issue was the awesome fireplace, the pilot light went out and we couldn't figure out how to get it lit again. The grill was a huge bonus for us as was the hot tub! We loved that at night. Beautiful property!

Plates, cooking supplies, and one bed were not clean. It obvious the dirty bed was not washed as it had crumbs and dirt in it from a previous occupant. Dishes were still wet and were not fully cleaned. The two levels were only accessible from the outside. Outdoor lighting didn’t work and we had no hot water for half our stay
