The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua Beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai just finished a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate park, more than 8 miles in length. These ground floor units are just steps from the pool and barbeque area. The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security . This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children, with no stairs to lug up suitcases and groceries. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. Love staying here with the amazing ocean view where we saw turtles, dolphins, whales and all sorts of water activities! Nice convenient location to either stay in Wailua, Kapaa or head North or South for the day! Mahalo for the place to stay!
The location was amazing and the condo was spotless and well appointed for our stay. It had everything we needed and the view from the lanai was unmatched
Such a great place to stay for a visit to the island! There is a nice protected swimming/snorkeling place a couple minutes away (great for anyone but especially anyone with younger children) along with lots of food choices. Getting to other parts of the island for exercusions and hiking was an easy drive. The place itself has all you need - laundry, snorkeling gear to use, and sounds of the ocean waves!
This is a nice condo that is easy to access, close to the airport, beautiful view, and has everything you need. Check-in was relatively simple and there were no issues with parking. There is no central air conditioning, although there is a wall unit in the bedroom. It can get a little muggy in the unit but that's the nature of Hawai'i. The condo has a brewery across the street, a convenience store across the street, and only a mile from a grocery store. We were able to walk to some restaurants. The condo had towels, adequate kitchen ware, and a good refrigerator. The living room sliding doors did not have curtains which was a little odd. We didn't need to engage really with the host, but the little we did before checking in was just fine. Minimal check out rules, which was nice. I would return.
We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was close to everything we needed, restaurants, shops, groceries and Coconut Marketplace. It made getting around so easy and stress-free.The place itself was clean, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had plenty of cookware. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer and how quiet the bottom unit was.Sitting on the lanai every morning and evening was my favorite part! We watched humpback whales blow in the distance, a sea turtle and some surfers! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay with kind hosts!

The furniture was all old and uncomfortably soft. The bed frame has sharp corners that is easy to scrape ones leg. The shower was so blasting hard and fast it was too hard to take a shower - it took 2 days for the host to replace the shower head. The host was responsive to calls and texts. The clothes washer and dryer were good and nice to have.
Our top 3 criteria are: ocean front, AC in the bedroom, and reasonable price. This place hit all three which is why we chose it and we were not disappointed! First floor, close to parking lot, several restaurants within a couple of blocks. Very quiet. If you’ve never been to Kauai, be sure to bring ear plugs - the roosters are all over the island and they crow all day long. We would definitely stay here again.
This place is perfect. Spacious, inviting, functional. Perfect for a couple who spends days hiking, kayaking, or other activities, and evenings chilling at home. Plenty of parking and access to practical things. The hosts are great too
Great location! Perfect for my wife and my 1 year old daughter. Nothing like eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Host was super accommodating, washer and dryer with some laundry pods were extra helpful. Stay here.

What a great place to stay!!! The location is incredibly convenient, close to the airport, town, beaches, everything!! The unit had a very comfortable king bed, well supplied kitchen, nice towels, and the best water pressure I have ever had in a shower!
Loved the view and easy access to the main road. The pillows are very thin for side sleepers but a couple together worked out. Shower water pressure was fantastic.
Everything was perfect. The bed was really comfortable. The shower has great water pressure. The view was picturesque! Good location for sightseeing. Walking distance or short drive to restaurants and shops. Pool is a nice place to relax. The entire property is beautifully landscaped.
We enjoyed the ocean view, especially when we were having breakfast early in the morning. The laundry in the unit was great. We liked being on the ground level close to the pool when we grilled and came back for the day to swim. We made our host aware of a fan not working and it was delivered to our condo instantly that same day.
We enjoyed staying at this condo. It had a southern view of the Wailua Bay area and was a great location for splitting up day visits to the northern and the southern parts of the island. My wife has limited mobility and this condo worked well for us. It will not work for someone that is constrained to a wheelchair but for someone that can walk some, it works well. The condo is on the 1st floor and has 2 steps to get up to the main walkway and then 3 steps to get up to the condo itself. There was an accessible parking spot just outside the condo door so the walk to the condo was only about 40 feet away from the car. The shower does not have a grab bar, but it does have a corner seat at the back. Unfortunately, the entrance to the shower is in the back and it does not have a door so you cannot tilt the spray head to reach you if you need to be seated for your shower. Tilting the head would allow water to soak outside the shower area and onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise, the shower is nicely done.The condo had a buggy board, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, float noodles etc. I wish I had found the binoculars before our last day. Furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The condo is adjacent to the pool for easy access. We heard limited or no noise from neighbors in the other condo units or entering the pool area and shared the lanai with just a few of the chickens found on the island.

My wife and I love the slower pace of Kauai and opportunity to vacation close to home. We enjoy relaxing at the beach as well as hiking, scube diving, snorkeling, and surfing. No wonder we love Kauai as it is a perfect island for outdoor activities and water sports.

The location is ideal being only 10 minutes from the airport (but far enough away that you never hear an airplane) and central to exploring the island both to the north and south. Wailua Bay View is close to shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. We really enjoy the walking distance to the protected beach cove for little ones and nearby Lydgate Park.
