Look forward to a wonderful vacation with the family in this spacious vacation home just a few hundred meters from Lake Maggiore. The living and sleeping areas of the house are distributed over several floors connected by stairs. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms you will find enough space for the whole family and friends and a pet.

Outside you can spend relaxing hours in the sun and fresh air overlooking the greenery on the beautiful open terrace of the house.

Around Lake Maggiore you will find a variety of exciting attractions and beautiful panoramas. Taste the local specialties such as delicious cheese, mortadella or cakes, rent bicycles or explore the area on foot. After a short walk you will reach the charming town of Stresa, also called the pearl of Lake Maggiore.

Loved Stresa but the property could use some work

This house has some great spaces. The decks are wonderful. Parking space is adequate. Location is close to the center of Stresa but not walkable. There were some problems. The house could have been cleaner. Spiders and spider webs. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level were musty despite the dehumidifier that was running constantly. The bathrooms and kitchen on the lower level had mold. There are no screens on the windows. A microwave and hair dryer would have been nice.

Bewertung für das Ferienhaus in Stresa, Lago Maggiore – leider enttäuschendUnser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus war leider alles andere als angenehm. Schon beim Betreten des Hauses wurden wir von einem unangenehmen Geruch empfangen, der sich durch alle Räume zog. Die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig – es war sichtbar staubig und in einigen Ecken geradezu dreckig.Die Badezimmer sind stark renovierungsbedürftig: alt, abgenutzt und teilweise unhygienisch. Besonders schockierend war ein offenes Stromkabel direkt im Badezimmer – ein absolutes Sicherheitsrisiko!Die Betten waren eine Katastrophe: durchgelegen, laut und extrem unbequem – an erholsamen Schlaf war kaum zu denken.Hinzu kam die sehr unfreundliche Dame, die uns bei der Schlüsselübergabe empfangen hat. Jegliche Freundlichkeit oder Hilfsbereitschaft suchte man bei ihr vergeblich. Man fühlte sich eher abgefertigt als willkommen.Auch die Parkplatzsituation ist unzureichend. Für ein Haus dieser Größe und Kapazität gibt es schlichtweg zu wenige oder schlecht zugängliche Parkmöglichkeiten.Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt eine große Enttäuschung. Die Lage in Stresa am Lago Maggiore ist wunderschön, aber dieses Ferienhaus können wir leider niemandem empfehlen

Nicht ganz so toll

Leider kein Seeblick, nur ein kleines Eckchen zu sehen, da große Bäume davor stehen. Auto unbedingt nötig, die steile und stark befahrene Straße oder die Treppen und Straße ab Stresa hochzugehen macht keinen Spaß! Sehr teure Reinigungskosten! Dafür gibt es pro Person aber auch ein kleines Handtuch. Müllproblem: nur wöchentliche Leerung (Müll muss selbst an die Strasse vorgebracht werden) - bei Biomüll im Sommer ekelhaft. Sehr dürftig ausgestattet mit dem schlechtesten Besteck der Welt, dafür wenig. Die Pfannen klaut auch keiner mehr. Und schlecht gewartet: ein abgerissener Türgriff unten, der am Eingang wackelt auch schon. Nur 2 Schlüssel für ein Haus von 11 Personen! Die Zimmer im Untergeschoss sind eine Zumutung, Kellerloch, Licht nur durch einen Lichtschacht, über den dann die Nachbarn mit ihren Motorrädern gefahren sind. Extrem hellhörig, wenn im Nachbarhaus geduscht wird oder die Toilette benutzt wird is nix mit schlafen. Stresa selbst ist ein Touristen-Hotspot mit den bekannten unangenehmen Folgen. Es gibt viel besseres als das!

Wunderschönes Haus herrlichem Ausblick

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, Handtücher legen bereit, die Betten waren bezogen. Eine freundlic8he Mitarbeiterin hat dem Schlüssel im Haus übergeben und uns alles, was wir für den Aufenthalt wissen mussten erklärt.
