The cabin is located on a short mountain road that can be uneven in places. Four-wheel drive is not required, and standard vehicles generally access the property without issue — we’ve made the drive in smaller cars as well. Taking it slowly is recommended, and higher-clearance vehicles can feel more comfortable, especially during winter weather.
Cell service may be limited on the drive to the cabin, but service at the property is generally reliable. The cabin is equipped with T-Mobile 5G internet for streaming, browsing, and staying connected.
As part of the mountain setting, you may see deer, birds, and other wildlife during your stay. The wooded surroundings, peaceful setting, and dark skies are part of the experience — clear nights often bring excellent stargazing.
Propane is provided for the outdoor fire table. There is often firewood available on the property for the fireplace and outdoor fires, though availability can vary, so bringing extra wood is recommended if you plan to use it frequently. If you’d like to use the grill, please bring charcoal.
