Contemporary cottage close to Bristol and Bath

Recently converted to a high standard, 1 Cloverlea Cottages is one of three cottages situated in a small courtyard within the owners grounds. Each cottage sleeps 2 with the facility to accommodate a further two people on a bed settee in the lounge area. There is a modern and light living area with floor to ceiling windows, leather settee and TV. The kitchen area is equipped with electric hob, built in cooker& fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. A small table makes dining easy.

There is a choice of twin beds or a super king bed in the spacious bedroom. Modern fitted wardrobes provide plenty of storage. There is a TV & hairdryer, plus all bed linen & towels are supplied.

1 & 2 Cloverlea cottages have modern bathrooms with walk-in shower making life easier for the less mobile. Fully tiled with a large mirror, over head lighting and heated towel rail. 3 Cloverlea has a bath with shower over.

There is underfloor heating throughout the property and parking for two cars per cottage.

The properties are situated adjacent to the Kendleshire golf course, one of the regions premier golf courses with 27 holes in 260 acres. Also nearby is the Players, Thornbury & Woodlands golf courses.
The Windmill Fisheries offers fishing along with Bitterwell Lake, which is within walking distance.
Bristol is 5 miles away with its historic harbour, famous churches and excellent shopping facilities.
Georgian Bath is 15 miles with its wonderful architecture and world famous Roman baths and spa.

With easy access to both M4 &M5, it is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds with its idyllic villages, the regency town of Cheltenham and picturesque Castle Combe.

Excellent venue for Bristol visit

Property clean and has all the kitchen essentials you might need for a short break. Quiet location and very comfortable bed. the approach lane is quite rutted in one particular area but most roads seem to be in this position at the moment.

Stunning cottage, all the facilities we needed and was even supplied with essentials like bottled water, milk and cookies! Not quite walking distance to Bristol city centre but will definitely be returning.

Reasonable, but felt it was like living on a part building site. The patio area and furniture was not the best, but couldn't fault inside of the property. PArk and ride 10 mins drive to get a local bus into Bristol which was ideal.

Great Find!

We were looking for a base for a few days but didn't the want noise of staying in the centre of Bristol. This accommodation was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of space, very clean and peaceful. Great location, we didn't have to travel for longer than half an hour in any direction to get to where we wanted too. Highly recommended.

A very nice stay

My partner and I booked a two night stay here so we could visit Bristol and head to the beaches down the coast with our 5 year old. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the accommodation but it really succeeds on two key issues for me. It’s probably the best power shower I’ve ever been in. It felt luxurious to walk in under the huge shower head and get far superior water pressure than I have at home! The double bed was fantastically comfortable! I usually don’t sleep well in unfamiliar beds but I did here. I also liked that milk and water bottles were in the fridge and a packet of cookies on the kitchen counter. Nice personal touch! We were very happy with our choice, so thanks Janice!

We very much enjoyed our short stay at this barn. It was clean, warm and inviting and it was well equipped with everything one needed. We had a warm welcome from Janice the owner. The barn was in a great location for travelling further afield by car which we did as the Road links were excellent for moving around. Provisions for parking up to 2 cars was a real bonus! and there were great rural views nearby. We will definitely visit again when in this location and look forward to re visiting on our next trip to the area.

Situated near to motorway links for ease of access and travel. Super position for visiting Bath, Bristol and Cotswolds. Many National Trust properties in the are so suitable for both city and country visits. Studio warm and comfortable.

Quiet short stay

This property was lovely and quiet and off the beaten path. With a king size bed and all the amenities, we were able to take a break day from all our travelling in a very nice space.
