Awesome place, but awful communication

I stayed at this vrbo for 1 night. I wish I got to stay more nights because it was a great place in a great location. The check in process was a nightmare. We had reached out to the host multiple times in advance, and we were sent no check in information. With no replies, I called the host. If you do not speak Italian, you will not be able to communicate with the host over the phone. We were left trying to locate the apartment while using google translate to relay information. It took about 45 minutes of trying to get into the property while on the phone. We should have been sent this info prior to arrival for a smooth check in.

This was a nice place in a central location. It was very nice for the hostess to leave cookies and wine. The check-in was a little confusing as the lady at the door did not want to let us in. The flat was nice. It was very hot. Definitely needed to sleep with windows closed. Because of the outside noise. All in all it was fun no thrills exactly what you get. Be prepared for you’re a good workout with stairs not recommended for older people.
