This custom built home has it all with extra large bedrooms to 3 full bath, hardwood floors in a gated development bordered by the national forest. Fully furnished with a open floor plan that is made for you to visit with your friends & family. VIEWS of the southern part of Canaan Valley which is a short drive to ski, golf, biking. Sets on .237 ( less than 1/2 acre) landscaping to lots of decking to watch the sun go down. Hot tub.VIEWS Views

Our stay

When they say 4 wheel drive they mean it. We were lucky it’s been a mild winter but the driveway is steep and you should have a 4WD vehicle.

Clean, open, mountainous. Our family of 5 adults was very comfortable. Nice living spaces, plenty of sleeping space. Drive up to the house very steep and bumpy gravel, it was an adventure! We had a great week!!

Family getaway

This cabin was just as described! It’s beautiful, very clean & was perfect for all ages. 3 bathrooms was a plus for us! The driveway is a little steep so keep that in mind. The only thing I think needs a little work - is there are a few outlets that need changed due to chargers or something not staying in. We will definitely be staying here again! It was wonderful.

So close to both Timberline and Cannan for skiing. It was easy to work with your team, instructions where easy to follow so we had very little interaction which is good. :)

Winter getaway!

The property was as advertised. Some of the amenities could be updated. Biggest complaint with this VRBO was the check in time of 4:00 and check out time of 10:30. You basically are wasting two full days! They should find a way for check in to be at 2:00 with check out at noon.

Nice home but don’t go with more than 2 vehicles. Most of the driveways in North Point are very narrow and backing out or trying to turn around can be problematic. Hot tub was nice, clean and well maintained. Master bedroom mattress was ok, but egg crate and padded mattress pad on top to help. Also lots of steps, bedrooms on lower and upper floors, living space on level between the two. We’ve rented from Mountaintop many times, always a good experience.

Our family met in West Virginia for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, utensils, etc., which made cooking a large meal easier. We also loved the views and the morning sunrises. Beautiful property in an amazing location. This trip was wonderful. We made new memories with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Firefly Chalet and the Davis area. Becky was very responsive to any questions and the check-in, check-out process was easy.

Thanksgiving Gathering

The house was just as described on the listing. Lots of space for our group to spread out and enjoy the holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing a large meal. We had a great time hiking the trails above the development. Great place. We will definitely return.

Lovely home for a crowd

We had plenty of space. The decks and hot tub were amazing. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked. Some info about check in and wifi was inaccurate which wasn’t critical but lacked attention to detail. Having to strip beds, run laundry and dishwasher by 10:30 checkout put a damper on the last day.

Great location to Blackwater Falls Park. Spacious home, kitchen well equipped. Microwave not working , reported to office, they offered a replacement if wanted. All light switches labelled, very helpful. great deck space !
