It was a wonderful stay and a beautiful location. We and our doggo loved the views and all the wildlife. Bev and Bill were great hosts. Lots of little hikes and excursions available within 10-15 minute drive so it was very convenient.

As advertised, the property is well located on the Coast for touring and activities and the accommodations offer wonderful views from the suite down to the inlet shoreline. Well selected amenities from kitchen to rejuvenating sauna made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Bill and Bev are informative and engaging hosts—so we will have sunny memories of Sechelt.

Not sure what to add that would be different from the other positive reviews, other than this suite was fabulous! Bev and Bill are the most friendly and accommodating hosts, property is perfect, views incredible, welcome treats were thoughtful and tasty! Lots of stairs down to the water, but several decks you can choose from if you can’t make it to the water and back again! We took advantage of them all and got our “steps in”! Sauna provided a perfect end to the day. We hope to be back if we don’t end up future residents of the Sunshine Coast!

This place is amazing!! If you’re looking for a nice quiet, very outdoor environment with a chance to detox, unwind and get your steps in… this is definitely the place for you. Bev and Bill are excellent host and so nice, they even offered to pick us up from a wedding. ( didn’t need it but so very thoughtful)We were able to paddle board, swim, watch wild life and reconnect. Thank you Bev and Bill

Bev an Bill were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond for us. Bill even buit a couple of railings for me to make my stay safer due to a knee problem. I was shocked he did that for me. It really made a difference to my stay. Everything you needed was there, Even visits from humming birds, eagles and barking seals. It was splended. Watching the sun rise on the patio in the morning was my favorite part of the day. It was incredibly quiet there, We slept like babies. The place was equiped with everything you needed and was spotless, with very comfortable furniture inside and out and a cozy bed to end your day. Bev and Bill were attentive to anything you needed, and if you were lucky enough every once in a while you could hear, off in the distance, a beautiful songbird voice sing away, it was magical. Thank you Bev and Bill for the lovely 3 nights we had with you we will return Aug -8-10 2026

This property is amazing. Bill greeted us when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. Bev had made some fantastic treats for us to snack on. The suite is clean and has everything you'll need and more. All the amenities are there for you to use inside and out. The sauna and the decks down to the ocean are so cool. It's so nice sitting on the lowest deck by the water in the morning with a coffee watching the eagles. Two big thumbs up from us. Thank you Bill and Bev for the great stay.

It was the perfect getaway. Beautiful, clean, well appointed suite with access to sauna. Quiet, secluded retreat with only minutes away from shops, parks . We stayed with our old Great Dane. Bev and Bill were amazing hosts, helpful and accommodating.

My stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Bev & Bill are truly amazing hosts warm, welcoming and attentive in all the right ways.The setting itself is breathtaking, with spectacular views and thoughtfully designed decks that let you fully soak it all in. The peacefulness makes it easy to fully relax and unwind. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.I'd return in a heartbeat, so much that I've already booked my next visit.

Stunning views, beautiful accommodation and fantastic hosts. Definitely a hidden gem. Above and beyond our expectations. Not many places where you have a choice of which deck you want to view the bay from. Or just relax in the sauna that also has a bay view.

We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. It felt welcoming the moment we walked in, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space.The location was perfect, making it easy to relax and also explore the surrounding area. We especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra enjoyable, from the cozy atmosphere to the well-stocked amenities, scones, granola and the sauna! Loved the tiered decks to soak in the views.Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout, which made everything even more stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway!

This is a gorgeous, quiet, private well appointed suite that is both in the forest and waterfront. Sitting on any of the decks and watching the seals and eagles while having a nice campfire and then a sauna in their new outdoor barrel sauna is perfect for relaxing. The owners are friendly and welcoming and had great suggestions for day trips and restaurants. There is a covered deck with bbq if the weather isn’t cooperating, and the bed is super comfy. We will definitely be returning.
