Great location perfect spot for traveling the state.
Best of all Fall Foliage was at peak and perfect weather. Really enjoyed our vacation in our back yard.
Terrific space for our 3 girls getaway - comfortable gathering spaces and a wonderful kitchen! Ramona was a communicative host and infused the property with lots of thoughtful touches. Great location! Enjoyed our stay and would definetly stsy again.
My family of 5 adults stayed at this adorable cottage. The house was comfortable and exactly what we needed. And, the location was super close to 89 and downtown Montpelier, making it a great launch point for all our activities for the week. Mona (the owner) was a great host. She was very responsive to my email questions and seemed truly happy to be hosting us. It was a wonderful experience!
My sisters and I stayed at this lovely, quintessential Vermont property in Montpelier. It was perfect! Very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was warm and humid while we were there, but the house had two a/c units that kept the house very comfortable. The location is fantastic! Close to downtown Montpelier and a local favorite cremee stand. Will likely stay there again. Highly recommend it!

Great Ski Trip Stay at This Montpelier Home
My family and I just returned from a weekend ski trip to Sugarbush, and we are so glad we decided to say at this great property. Located only 30 minutes from the mountain, it provided a very comfortable and restful place to stay for an excellent price. We were immediately impressed with the super clean and tidy appearance of the home. With three bedrooms and two large bathrooms, we had plenty of space to spread out -- SO MUCH BETTER than cramming into the four walls of a small hotel room! We prefer to cook breakfast at home and stay "in" for dinner, and the kitchen was nicely appointed with everything we needed to cook family meals. The beds were comfy and our boys took great advantage of the Roku television. The owner and property manager were super easy to communicate with, and the booking process was extremely smooth. We will definitely look to rent this property again when we return to ski in the area! Thanks to Mona and family for sharing their home with us!

My best,
Mona
Everything was great for our stay. I really enjoyed the location.
The property was as described. The only things I wish was different is if there were more plugins to charge our devices and the light over the dining area needed to be brighter. Overall the property is a great place to stay and if I were to go back I would stay there again.
We spent 4 nights here while dropping our son off at Norwich University. It's on a main street, but you would never know & it's still very quiet. There was some Vermont Cheddar & crackers awaiting us, which was a nice surprise. The house is quite modern with updated kitchen & bathrooms. There were 2 air conditioners, which were great since we were there during a rare heat wave. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay. House was clean and welcoming. Close to Montpelier. Loved it!

Very clean and comfortable
My extended family had a wonderful stay!! Even with road construction effecting three sides of the property, all concerned were accommodating, friendly, and responsive. And the activity provided hours of observation for the boys!! The whole process of booking, check-in (welcome book was VERY thorough and appreciated) and a small issue of repair was provided in such a way as to make us immediately comfortable. Thank you!!

Better than expected!
We felt welcome as soon as we opened the door. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy our visit; immaculately clean with everything that was needed from kitchen utensils to toiletries. The pictures are nice enough but when seeing the home in real life you got a true feeling of how our hostess Mona really wanted us to be comfortable.

Adorable & Comfortable Home
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days with our 2 year old son and newborn baby girl just as summer turned to fall. We come back to Vermont as often as possible to explore the state that we one day hope to live in. This was our first time staying in Montpelier and we're so glad we chose this house! The renovations are lovely and the home was well stocked with everything we needed. There were some wonderful personal touches as well, such as delicious Vermont cheese and crackers waiting for us upon arrival and a box of toys that my son just loved! Ramona was very helpful and quick to respond regarding our stay. The only improve we would make is adding blackout curtains to the bedrooms for sleeping. We made wonderful memories here...eating, relaxing, laughing...and we can't wait to visit again...hopefully next time in the winter!

The home was very nice, cozy, clean and we had everything we needed. Gracious hosts.
The home is very nice and clean; well decorated, roomy, well stocked and the manager is right next door. The owner/manager provided a Welcome Book with great information on local restaurants and attractions. Our only criticism was that the television didn't offer local networks and we are not familiar with the TV options that were available. The area has a little more traffic noise but we had the windows open and we slept fine anyway.
Overall I would certainly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

wonderful week in Vermont
We were in Vermont to attend son's graduation from VCFA and with his family (infant) and my wife and I the home was perfect. Location, clean, nicely appointed as advertised. Better than hotel or B&B. A grill would have been nice but not needed, not crazy about internet TV but ok. Able to see fireworks from back porch. Everything was great!!

About the host
Hosted by Ramona Grenier
I am originally from central Vermont, but now I live with my husband and our two children in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We stay in this house when we visit my family in Vermont (my mother lives next door which is great). When we are not staying here we rent the home out. Your rental fees help defray the costs of owning this home and make it possible for us to visit my family for a longer period each year, so we appreciate your choice to stay here very much!

What makes this property unique
It's a beautiful, cozy home with lots of character, designer touches, and all the modern conveniences. Plus my mother is the property manager, you can't get a more personal touch than that!
