Minutes from Pen y fan and Storey Arms , Brecon Beacons , hot tub , steam room .

Such a pleasure to welcome this family who loved their hiking. With Pen y fan 7 minutes away the cottage is ideally situated . And to come home and jump in the hot tub and steam roof to ease those aching legs is perfect. I would happily welcome the family again .

Such a pleasure to welcome Sally and family this August. So many guests walk Pen y fan then relax in the huge hot tub and steam room , especially in the heat we have enjoyed this summer. We are 40 minutes to Cardiff , 30 minutes to Hay on Wye and 5 minutes into Brecon so many guests use us as a base not just for the wonderful walks but to explore South Wales. I hope we can welcome these guests again soon.

Such a pleasure to welcome these lovely school friends for their reunion. I am so glad you got to see the amazing sky this week . The Beacons are one of the 5 designated night sky accreditation areas in the world for a reason. We have so little light pollution. I look forward to welcoming these lovely ladies again.

Such a joy to welcome this family , the cake was still warm ! I love to bake . We really do want our guests to feel welcome. Cake and Prosecco , my idea of heaven! And yes the hot tub is huge, perfect to social distance! At 35 degrees it is very pleasant after a hike up pen y fan. I would welcome this family back , the cottage was immaculate on departure. February has been a wonderful month .

What a wonderful review. I was so thrilled to read your kind words. We try hard to ensure our guests feel really welcome, providing all the boring household stuff so you can bring the fun stuff. A glass of fizz on arrival is definitely a must , especially to be enjoyed in the huge hot tub. You were charming guests who left the house immaculate and I would welcome back .

Such a super group, two couples , very keen bikers . It was a pleasure to welcome you all and would love to see you all again. I know you have to book in advance for a slot in Bike parc Wales , but it is worth a visit and just above the house. The huge tub is a definite bonus for aching muscles from walking or biking , as our last guests said the photos don’t do the tub justice! See you again soon.

So glad you enjoyed your holiday in the Brecon Beacons. With the design of the cottage we are unaware of any guests and with the sides of the huge heated swim spa hot tub you are completely private . All the facilities , the gym, steam room and hot tub are for our guests exclusive use to enjoy during their stay . With pen y fan 7 minutes away it’s great to be able to jump onto the heated water and relax the muscles. I hope we can welcome this lovely family again.

Really glad you enjoyed your break and the huge swimspa pool , it is difficult to convey how large it is in the photos. As you say they don’t do justice to the pool, it’s a great space for all the family. This year you were here for the jazz festival weekend in Brecon, if you come the weekend earlier in August it is Brecon show which is a lovely day out for the whole family. Really glad you enjoyed the best the Beacons had to offer and the cottage is ideally suited to exploring the area , 7 minutes from pen y fan and 20 minutes from the waterfalls . And the huge tub is the best for flopping into after a hike , especially as it is so hot now.

An absolute pleasure to welcome this family of three generations. To walk pen y fan then have a dip in the hot tub, currently at 38 degrees is the best . The wood burner is an added bonus and we don’t charge extra for the wood, we really do want our guests to enjoy themselves. I really look forward to welcoming this family again soon.

Such a pleasure to welcome a loving family. We take our guests comfort and holiday experience seriously. Thank you for leaving the cottage so incredibly clean and tidy , and I am so glad you enjoyed the night sky experience , we are very proud of that in our national park. And the bar b que was brand new, we are constantly updating all our facilities , we really do want you to leave with happy memories.

Thank you for your feedback which we have taken on board, we would like to address the following issues. The second bathroom was designed for those of limited movement and mobility. We felt this was a useful addition to adult groups such as yourself and to offer alternative refreshment facilities. There is a tap to wash hands inside the bathroom, perhaps this was just not to your personal taste. The basin plug upstairs has been replaced but sadly we couldn't control the large winds that we had during your stay. It was exceptional conditions which made for the draft upstairs, these have however been re sealed to ensure this is not reported again. Very glad you enjoyed your cake and the complimentary early check in 9.30 am and late check out 3pm . We try hard to ensure our guests have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay and hope to welcome you again in the future. With best wishes, Clare

Such a pleasure to welcome your family . Yes the swim spa is great, it is way bigger than a regular hot tub , a great social space . With teenagers , as you had, it is useful to have something for them to keep them busy . I am glad the family enjoyed the space and the best weather all year. Clare
