Low Croft is an ideal base for a holiday.
All amenities are close by, private parking in the courtyard is an advantage. There are numerous walks from the doorstep and a bus stop is close by.
Grasmere also provided perfect weather for your stay.
Cosy home in perfect central location made for a great long weekend.

This was our second stay in Low Croft. Perfect location tucked away in the heart of Grasmere, with coffe shops 20 seconds from the door. Very cosy, all facilities in good condition. Very happy with our stay.
We really enjoyed out stay in Grasmere - the cottage is very comfortable, well equipped and right in the centre of the village. We look forward to staying again!
A well equipped, comfortable house in a quiet location. Just round the corner from a number of pubs and restaurants. Some lovely walks nearby. Easy check-in with code.

Well maintained cottage away from the streets and good parking.
The Lake District has so much to offer and we had fun and learning at the same time.
Enjoyed the Goat Mountain 8 Lakes Spectacular and the visit to Richard Wordssmith’s cottage and museum.

Knowledge and his family were excellent guests and enjoyed their stay.
It would be a pleasure to have them to stay with us again in the future.
Great location for a walking holiday with access to public transport, shops, restaurants and pubs. The facilities are great and cleanliness good. The utility room on ground level is ideal for storage of hiking gear and bikes.

Thank you for your kind review. I am pleased you had a lovely stay at Low Croft and found the location was ideal and the facilities in the cottage were
great. I enjoyed meeting you.
We had a lovely time in grasmere. The property was bang in the centre of the village, it was spotlessly clean and had plenty of space for the family. We parked the car up on day one and utilised the £2 bus to all the tourists spots most of our stay.
Great holiday and wonderful property

Hi James
Thank you for you kind review. I am pleased you and your family had good time at Low Croft and found the accommodation ideal. Having the designated parking space and the £2 bus fares certainly is an advantage as parking can be difficult and expensive.
We hope we may see you again. Ann
Stayed 7 nights and really enjoyed Grasmere. This place is centrally located. For those of you not familiar with small town UK (like me), the name of the cottage is on the building so the very general location of the cottage given by VRBO is nothing to worry about. The only thing missing from this place was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We had to run out to the store for these things and needed to get toilet paper mid week. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Thank you Debra for your review of Low Croft.
I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. I do not supply toiletries which is not unusual for self catering accommodation. I am sorry you needed to buy toilet rolls as I supply them. Thanks again. Ann
L appartement est très bien distribué, très pratique. Il est de plus très bien placé car au cœur du village.

The property was clean and had all facilities we required for a weekend walking in Lakes. Right in the middle of Grasmere, within easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops. Lovely to meet the owner on Sunday and the beautiful vase of roses was a very nice gesture. Would certainly stay there again.

Dear Judy
We are pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay at Low Croft and to have met you. We would certainly love to have you to stay with again. Ann
Very convenient location. Private and quiet. Clean and comfortable. Self-closing fire doors a bit of an irritation. Would have liked a DVD player. We would stay there again.
An ideal location from which to explore both the immediate vicinity and the wider area. Surprisingly quiet bearing in mind it’s location in the centre of the village.
We really enjoyed our week at Low Croft. The cottage is in a quiet location in the centre of the village with all the usual amenities on the doorstep. We loved being able to do so many walks directly from Grasmere and only used the car once during the week. The cottage is very clean, cosy and very well equipped and a great place to return to after a day on the fells. We would love to holiday here again.
Lovely quiet house in middle of Grasmere close to great restaurants and cafes. Bonus to have a parking space although not the easiest to get into and out of!
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is tidy and very cosy and equipped with everything that is necessary for a comfortable stay. The cottage is well situated, central but yet quiet.
We can recommend it absolutely. Thank you very much.

Ann's property is wonderfully situated, right in the middle of the village, but very quiet and calm. It's immaculately clean, and well equipped. The perfect place from which to go walking - you can get to Elterwater, the Hows, even Scafell if you're ambitious! And there are bus routes from a bus stop about 2 minutes away.
