We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Everything was exactly as described, clean, confortable and well-equipped. The location was perfect, and communication with the host was smooth and friendly. I would definetly recommend this place and would be happy to come back.
Wonderful place for a family…great pool…spacey…good air con…nice outdoor space…close to coast and beaches and the quayside…next door to supermarket..easy parking..friendly residents…everything works…easy to communicate with owner…highly recommended!

Mari Carmen's holiday appartment.
Well equipped apartment very clean and tidy, enjoyed our stay. central to the Port of Javea and Playa de Arenal. Still in love with Javea old town and it's history. Initial problems of entry into the appartment and garage compounded by the torrential rain on the day, unusual for the month of September. Eventually solved the key problems with the able assistance of number 43. We think our stay would have been easier initially with a more detailed visitors advice book of instructions, If we were considering a long stay we would need the late evening advantage of English TV. This was not picked up when considering the apartment amenities.
More pro-active attention to detail required for a rental.
Host is UK based and apartment is "managed" locally by Host's sister and brother-in-law; both are very welcoming and helpful. However, the TV satellite/cable did not work for duration of our stay. Sister said it was due to take over of the satellite company (one wonders how many people all over Spain had no service for the week we were there?). Although the booklet in the apartment boasted sun loungers for use at the pool, there were none. Reported this the day after we arrived but no loungers provided until the day before we left. UK based Host ordered these from internet so took 6 days to arrive! (sister suggested loungers could be purchased, same day, from local beach stores, but UK Host insisted she would order them herself). We, thus, could not use the pool area for the entire holiday as it has no communal chairs and the are bordering the pool is concrete!) As stated, more attention to detail, before clients arrive, could have avoided these problems. We have been holidaying in Javea for 26 years, using various companies for apartments and hotels. We have not previously booked via Vrbo and, given the quality of the Host on this occasion, we are unlikely to book via Vrbo again.

It was difficult to read Stuart’s review about his family’s stay in our much loved apartment. Especially as they were the first guests we had since our en-suite refurbishment and upgrading our living room furniture.
It’s very unfortunate we had not realised we were down to one sun lounger and will ensure we check these elements more robustly in the future.
With respect to the issue about the sun loungers, as soon as Stuart got in touch with us, we ordered a new pair of high quality loungers from Amazon Prime. These would be a much better quality than those you could get from the local beach shops and we were assured there would be next day delivery. I have used Amazon Prime regularly both in the UK and Spain with no issue, but in this case we were severely let down by the delivery times which kept being pushed back. We do apologise that the pair of loungers did not arrive until the 19th.
This is the first time we have had an issue with the internet/TV package, and it was indeed working perfectly when we checked the apartment before the guests arrived. Unbeknownst to us as customers, the package provider was acquired by another company during this period and the TV and broadband package was split, therefore the company was only providing broadband. When we found out the TV was not working, it took us a couple of days to get clarity on what had happened and how to get it up and running again, as customer services could not give us a clear view at first. This was out of our hands unfortunately, but we worked hard to get the issue resolved and apologise for the inconvenience our guests experienced as a result of this. I believe the TV was working properly also on the 19th.
We have always prided ourselves in enhancing our guests’ holidays by the care and attention we provide while staying at our apartment, and we apologise that the missing sunlounger and TV issue detracted from their overall enjoyment of their stay. We have learned from this experience.

Great apartment in a great position
I'm rarely moved to write reviews, but I just want to say what a perfect apartment it was. Situated ideally between the beach and the port the apartment is clean and modern and suited ideally for a family holiday. The owners are easy to contact and really helpful. We plan to return!!

Lovely apartment in a very nice area of Javea
The apartment was really lovely which included everything we could have wished for.
Three very nice bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a very handy outdoor laundry.
The lounge/dinning area led out to a nice terrace, where we sat most of the time, enjoying the sunshine.
There was a swimming pool next door to the apartment, which was very seldom used in June and therefore very quiet.
Secure car parking facilities inside the complex was very handy when we visited the large supermarket which was very close by.
Easy stroll to the beach and beach bars. The old port and Arenal where there were nice shops and restaurants, were both in walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in June whilst also enjoying the festival.
We would definitely recommend the apartment, which we hope to visit again.

Wow
Lovely apartment, nice area, large communal pool within meters of my bedroom. In June, the pool was never crowded, and I sometimes had it to myself! The beds were very comfortable. There is a dining table, but we ate almost all our meals on the patio - it was lovely out there, whether breakfast, and or the early hours. A couple of blocks walk to beach bars and cafes, a bit longer to the port or to the main beach area. There is an amazing nightclub (Moli Blanc) also within walking distance. A local supermarket is almost next-door, as well as other shops. Having wi-fi was great! Kitchen was well-equipped (but only one oven shelf), and had a dishwasher. The washing machine is in a little outdoor laundry, which apparently is fairly normal in Spain. Overall, a really lovely place to stay, to visit a lovely holiday town. I thoroughly recommend it

What makes this property unique
Being a ground floor apartment, there is more room with the garden and the terrace than other apartments would not benefit from. The location is excellent as it is in between El Arenal, the touristic zone of Javea and La Grava beach with the port and the old town of Javea.
If you do not wish to drive, there are a few supermarkets close by and the beach and beach bars, restaurants.... But if you fancy exploring the surrounding areas, there are some spectacular views from El Mirador and La Granadella beach is not to be missed.
