Annick and Eddy have owned this villa since May 2017.

Casa YAENOS has an inhabited area of ​​350 m2, on a domain of 4000 m2, located in a very quiet area and yet close to all facilities (airport, beaches, shops, restaurants, super market, ...).
The charming village of Santa Bárbara de Nexe is a 5 min. Drive away, the charming town of Loulé, 10 minutes, the city of Faro in 15 minutes.
The big, beautiful entrance hall opens to a spacious living room and equally spacious modern kitchen with all mod cons and a laundry room.

We had the most fantastic time staying in this wonderful villa. The owners Eddy and Annick have furnished their beautiful villa to a very high standard. The villa has everything that you need. All the towels, kitchen equipment, extra blankets etc all available for use. So nice to have more than 6 plates, cups, forks etc!!! The villa was wonderful but the outside space was beautiful. Little seating areas everywhere with comfortable chairs and cushions.. You can choose to sit in the sun or the shade.. The pool was a good size and everything was so well maintained. The owners use a company that are there on hand to help you should you need it and answer any questions. A car is required for this villa.. You are then free to explore the nearby towns but also visit the many beaches. Eddy and Annick are such generous hosts as everything in the villa is made available for you. We have had many experiences with villas where the owners only leave the bare essentials for the use of the holiday maker.. They also left us a welcome gift of a delicious rose wine.. Thanks to Eddy and Annick for sharing their most wonderful villa. We would definitely consider staying there again when we are next in the Algarve.

Two weeks in Algarve

First, I will comment about the "team" at Casa Yeanos. Eddy contacted us several time before and during our stay to insure we were happy and had everything we needed. The property manager met us to tour the property when we checked in and again when we checked out. They were always available to answer questions or offer recommendations. There are others such as the housekeeper, gardener, and pool person you could see during your stay. The property is in the hills above Faro. It's a walled property with a security gate and private parking. Depending on the time of day it could take up to 30 minutes to get to the old town of Faro where many excellent restaurants are located. I would like to mention Le Marquis as being the best dining experience while atayinf at Casa Yaenos. It's about a 10 minute drive from the property. It's French inspired and totally worth the slightly higher costs. The house is large enough for most families and small groups. It was only me and my spouse on this trip so we had more than enough room to spread out. The outside area is very nice (in spring, Summer, and early fall. The pool is large enough to accomodate children on one end and floating adults on the other end. There are no close neighbors to impinge on your privacy. The kitchen is adequately equipped (average VRBO) to allow cooking but you will need to supply your own spices. The bedrooms are well sized with baths in suite. We totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Yaenos.

Heerlijke villa op een rustige locatie

Wij hebben met onze familie heerlijk genoten van de villa. De villa ligt wat afgelegen op de berg wat er voor zorgt dat het er heerlijk rustig is. Echter op 10min rijden vind je er alle voorzieningen en op 25 min rijden ben je op de mooie stranden van Portugal. De villa is heel compleet en er staat een team aan mensen paraat om je te helpen. Zo hebben ze ons een aantal lokale restaurantjes aanbevolen waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten.

Nice villa with great views (better than can be seen on the online photos). A stunning villa in a very private setting

We stayed for 12 nights in May/June 2022 and loved the villa. The communications from the owner and local support team from the time of booking to check out were first class. The villa itself is incredible. The pool is huge, there are a number of seating areas inside and out that can accommodate 8 people and the kitchen and BBQ areas are both great too. There were 8 of us staying (6 adults and 2 children) and there was plenty of space for us all. We also enjoyed the petanque court and the table tennis table. We were also introduced to 'padel' at the local tennis club on a cloudy day, which was great fun. I'd highly recommend this villa.

Wonderful villa in a peaceful location with gorgeous views

From first enquiring to book this villa the owners Annick and Eddy couldn’t have been more helpful and always quick to answer any questions. The villa itself is stunning and on a very generous size plot with great pool and amazing gardens. Lots of seating areas and my teenage boys loved the darts and ping pong table. Only 15 minutes drive from faro Airport. Everything you could need and more and we made great use of the bbq. We had a very relaxing time and will definitely be going back👍😎

Prachtige vakantiewoning in een rustige omgeving nabij Faro.

Schitterende rustig gelegen villa waarin niets ontbreekt en je van alle gemakken bent voorzien. Met prachtige tuin en een heerlijk groot zwembad ( tot 2 meter diep). Er zijn meerdere zitjes rondom de villa waar je in of uit de zon kan genieten, mede van het prachtige uitzicht over de heuvels en de kustlijn. De villa ligt op 20 min vanaf Faro (en het vliegveld). Er zijn vele mogelijkheden tot uitstapjes vrij kort in de buurt (max 30 km), echter een auto is wel aan te raden. De buiten barbeque was voor ons een groot succes, 2 supermarkten op 7 min afstand (Lidl en Intermarche). Het tafeltennissen kon geduurende de hele dag omdat deze onder een boom langs de villa stond "super". Wij als familie met baby ( 3 maanden oud), waar alles ook voor aanwezig was, hebben genoten van een geweldige vakantie.
