About the host

Sarah and John live at Graig Wen with their 2 friendly dogs. We also run the small camp site so are around if you need us. We left Brighton nearly 20 years ago in a camper van and fell in love with this special part of Snowdonia National Park. Having lived in the city for many years, it's such a privilege to be able to walk through our fields to the Mawddach Estuary or bike along the trail to the shops.

Why they chose this property

Sarah and John live at Graig Wen with their 2 friendly dogs .

What makes this property unique

Graig Wen is a fantastic location for walkers, whether you fancy a stroll along the flat Mawddach Trail, or more strenuous climbs around the hills and mountains. Footpaths lead directly from the site and it's a brilliant place to bring your bike or dog. The views from the site itself are beautiful and there are communal areas for guests to take in the panorama of mountains and estuary. Some of the properties share this view - others overlook woodland across the road. The site is a paradise for bird-spotters and photographers without having to leave the gates. Our adjoining small camp site, as featured in the Cool Camping Guides, offers some great opportunities for family den-building, toasting marshmallows around a camp fire and meeting new friends. Sarah and John, the owners, live on site so are around to help with suggestions for you to get the most of your holiday.
