Casa Poente A wonderful countryside Cottage in the hills of the Algarve..

A charming countryside cottage house in the hills of the Algarve with its own walled garden.. west faceing for the name Poente.. It has a wonderful plunge pool for cocktails looking over the countryside. It’s a 1 bedroom house, with a study that has a trundle bed pull out... Great for a child or the parent... Great house for that romantic getaway. one bathroom new walk in shower, a New Kitchen with all the needs for that wannabe chef, Out the kitchen door is the terrace for that morning coffee, and looking over the algarve hills . The hot days and evenings you have your own plung pool.. It has Air-con in the bedrooms, and heating for the winter months. The original fireplace in the bedroom. It has it own private parking with in the wall garden behind the gates. The house is between Loule (10 mins) and São Bras de Alportel ( 8 mins) Each village has all the needed shops, cafe’s, Markets, festivals. You are 20mins to the ferry’s and on to the best beaches. Close to golf, shopping, all the sights. The best is you can be in the middle of it all, then come home to the countyside for the peace and quite.
The house has everything you would need for the chef. You will find your great fish in the market, come home, set the BBQ and watch the sun set... relax in the pool
The house is best for a couple or couple with 1 child max

This place is the perfect location to explore and get to love Portugal. You are 20 mins from Faro airport, also Faro train station. Both places you will find the major rental car companies

Perfect small house for a couple. Relaxing setting, lovely sunset over the hills. Host and owner friendly and very helpful. Recommend it highly.

Will definitely stay here again!!

I stayed at this property for 2 weeks with my parents whilst we were visiting family nearby. It was a perfect size for the 3 of us and loved having a pool. It was also fantastic that there was air conditioning in the bedrooms. I have nothing negative to say about this property and will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect setting for a wonderful holiday

A beautiful peaceful retreat in the Portugese country side, a lovely refreshing small pool, comfortable furnished and decorated. A few nice welcome touches like a fresh bar of soap, bottle of wine etc. A short walk to a local bar and a short drive to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely return.

Sehr ruhig und privat

Sehr ruhig und privat in schöner Landschaft gelegen. Das Haus und speziell die Küche war mit allem notwendigen für einen entspannten Urlaub ausgestattet. Ein Highlight war der Pool, angenehm temperiert auch zu später Stunde. Der Außenbereich ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber auch seinen Charme hatte. Die Lage erfordert jedoch ein Auto, was aber auch den Vorteil hat dass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäfte in kürzester Zeit erreichen kann. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wieder kommen.

Nettes kleines Häuschen, leider durchgelegene Matratzen

Wir sind spät nachts angekommen und haben uns sehr über einen Laib Brot, eine gute Flasche Wein und einen Käse als Empfang in der Küche gefreut. Das war wirklich toll! Im Häuschen ist alles, was man braucht, sehr zum Wohlfühlen, leider sind die Matratzen in allen Betten durchgelegen. Das war nachts schon sehr unangenehm. Durch einen Buchungsfehler wollten wir einen Tag verlängern und hatten den Vermieter auch gefragt, später auschecken zu können, da unser Flug spät ging. Er war mit beidem einverstanden, da es keine Anschlussvermietung gab. Als er von uns jedoch für die eine Nacht fast 30 % mehr Geld verlangte, als für die anderen Nächte zuvor, haben wir doch nicht verlängert und waren darüber recht enttäuscht.

I am so sorry you did not like the bed.. It’s a German company that provided those beds.. We could have put a board under night if you would have liked. But you never asked. 2nd I agreed to allow you to have a late check out on your day of departure. But you the realized you did not do a correct booking. The charge was our nightly charge.. minus what you paid to VBRO. I had also discounted that fee by 25%. At no time you asked why for the charge.. You just departed…. So thank you for staying….

Traumhafter Ort zum Durchatmen

Wir waren 12 Tage im Haus und haben jeden einzelnen genossen! Ausser dem Anbau/Haupthaus (hinter hoher Mauer) gibt es keine direkten Nachbarn und man ist ganz für sich. Der Außenbereich ist durch mehrere Terrassen (u.a. mit Überdachung) und Pool einfach traumhaft, genauso wie der Blick in die Landschaft (Felder, Berge). Das Haus ist innen sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler Backofen, Orangensaftpresse sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt in Casa Poente. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und die Küche hervorragend ausgestattet. Der Pool ist herrlich und wird regelmäßig gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und verschiedene Strände sind in 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit William hat prima funktioniert und es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir kommen wieder.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Wir haben kürzlich 12 Tage im Objekt verbracht. Das Haus liegt in toller Lage mit Blick auf die Berge. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und bietet alles was man braucht. Die Kommunikation vor Ort mit Christoffer läuft super...er weiß wo gute Strände und gute Restaurants sind. Fahrt zu Städten wie Tavira oder Loule immer so zwischen 15 - 30 Minuten. Wir kommen wieder.

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes Haus in toller Lage!

Das Haus befindet sich in einem guten Zustand, es ist sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist nicht nur zweckmäßig, sondern auch sehr schön. Die Aussicht ist wirklich ein Traum und es ist sehr ruhig, da es doch etwas abgelegen liegt. Auto unbedingt erforderlich, es fahren dort keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel! Mit dem Auto ist man aber in 20-30 Minuten am Strand, in Faro, Loulé,... Wir waren mit unserem Sohn (11 Monate) dort und der Vermieter William hat schon im Vorfeld gefragt, was wir für ihn benötigen, sodass wir bei unserer Ankunft sogar einen Hochstuhl und ein Babybettchen vorfanden. William war auch während des ganzen Aufenthalts als Ansprechpartner für uns da und war sehr zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für alles, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

Casa poente... magnifique maison pour 4. Calme, fonctionnelle et trés agréable. Cet endroit nous a permis de nous reposer et de nous ressourcer.Confortable et propre. Les personnes s'occupant de la maison et de notre arrivée ont été trés accueillant, à l'écoute et disponible. Merci à nos hôtes

Wunderschönes Haus mit kleinem Pool in nicht einsehbarem Grundstück

Das Haus bietet Platz für 2 - 4 Personen. Es gibt eine Küche mit Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, ein Studierzimmer mit Ausziehbett (sehr bequem) ein Wohn-Ess-Zimmer, ein Bad mit Toilette und einen herrlichen Freisitz unter einer Pergola mit wunderschönem Blick in die Landschaft. Es liegt absolut ruhig und fernab von größeren Strassen. Trotzdem ist man innerhalb von 30 Minuten in Faro oder an einem Strand. Das Haus ist frisch renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können es weiterempfehlen. Wir bedanken uns auch bei dem Vermieter William und bei Christoffer, der uns vor Ort betreut hat und dafür sorgte, daß alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt wurden.
