Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Small terrace with garden furniture. Public car park, 250 yards, parking permit included. No smoking.. This delightful, former fisherman’s cottage lies at the heart of the village of Staithes. One of a row, it is just 300 yards from the beach and small harbour – reached via winding cobbled streets. It is set on the Heritage Coast in the North York Moors National Park with the extensive sandy beaches of Runswick Bay and Sandsend a short drive, and Whitby, 10 miles. North Yorkshire Moors steam railway nearby. Fishing, golf and riding available locally. Shop and pub 200 yards.

I stayed at Tinakori for a week with my two grown-up children. Lovely cottage, very clean and lots of thoughtful touches - milk in fridge and biscuits provided. Thank you ☺️ You have to be mobile and fairly fit to cope with the approach to the village and steps around the village. There’s no parking near the cottage but there is a parking permit for nearby car park.Staithes is lovely - we ate at both village pubs and the take away pizzas at Cobbles are delicious. Very enjoyable week.

Comfortable, cosy, peaceful

This is a lovely cottage, ideally positioned to see cowbar from the upstairs sitting room and centrally placed in Staithes. The owner was very welcoming and interactions were easy and helpful. The cottage is warm and cosy with everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay to see the beautiful village and surrounding countryside. One of my favourite parts of the world.

Excellent small townhouse with a cosy fireplace. We have been many times in Staithes and enjoy the outdoors, fossil hunting and the local fish and chips. Tinakory is a brilliant base for all the fantastic places to visit. Looking out over the roofs and situated at a small alleyway gives you the feeling of traveling back in time with all modern conveniences at hand!

Lovely log burner for cosy evening after long walks. The shower isn’t the best, more of a trickle but we survived for the weekend. Welcome pack of milk and biscuits plus fresh flowers, much appreciated.

In the heart of Staithes, well presented accommodation, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. Surprised on arrival to find tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided along with biscuits and fresh flowers! We also had a visit from Colin, the owner of the accommodation, he came to say hello and to ensure we knew how every thing worked, that we were happy with everything and to let us know where to find him if need be. A lovely man and lovely accommodation, we've never had a welcome pack or met an owner before and it made such a difference! Enjoyed the beak and sad to leave. Thank you Colin.
