This comfortable beach house enjoys views of Swan Bay to the front and it is just minutes walk to the beach. Perfectly located in ‘The Narrows’ of Queenscliff, it is just a 1.5km walk into the historical Queenscliff township or an easy 3km bike ride on the bike trail to Point Lonsdale.
This mid-century beach house has all the creature comforts you would expect, whilst preserving some of the original charm of its era. If you are looking for sleek, modern luxury you won’t find it here. Instead, you can enjoy a bona fide beach house where you can unwind and genuinely relax.
True to the period, the front porch has been enclosed to create a sunroom which is the perfect place to sit of a morning and lose yourself in a good book. A massive kitchen accommodates more than one cook so food preparation becomes a social event. The large open plan dining and lounge create a central hub of activity. There is a sleepout for the kids as well as a mudroom to dump the sandy shoes and beach gear after a day at the beach. This is holidays as they used to be, kids, teens, pets, family and friends coming together to share food, conversation and the great outdoors.
Walk just a few minutes for direct access to the beach. Sit and enjoy reflective hours watching the ships come in, or frolic with the kids on the sand and in the waves. To the right is the dog-friendly beach and to the left is the peaceful ‘humans only’ beach. A short stroll along the sand takes you to the patrolled beach for safe swimming for littlies.
There is much to do in Queenscliff. Board the ferry to Sorrento and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, or take the historical steam train to Drysdale. Enjoy leisurely cafe breakfasts, lunch by the water at the marina or picturesque drives to local wineries. Go cycling on the rail trail, surf at Point Lonsdale beach or stroll along the boardwalk or lovers lane. As the sun sets, light the bbq and enjoy a wine in the courtyard or a Pimms and lemonade if you want to relive the era.

We absolutely loved our stay, the house was perfect for our family and we loved the old school beach holiday vibe, playing board games, laughing and sharing company without phones or technology. Highly recommend this house to anyone!
We’ve stayed here a few times now and our whole family love it. The house is always clean and has everything we need. It’s so close to the beach and walking/ riding tracks. Thanks for having us again!

Relaxing Getaway
This house includes everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. It's so close to the beach, and a comfortable walk into town. We will definitely stay here again.
For the last few years we have stayed in this awesome home and the bonus is that it is at the perfect location for us while we attend the Queenscliff Rod Run weekend in February .

So glad you enjoyed your stay Ginelle. We love it down there too - so relaxing.
We have now rented this house for the second year in a row and we love it. It's clean has everything you need. Location is excellent, we have young kids and love being able to walk to the beach.
The house was great for a family of 3 adults as all 3 bedrooms were a good size and had comfy beds. 3 couches was also handy! The house was as advertised and met our needs.
Spacious beach house around the corner from the beautiful Santa Casa beach and short stroll the the cute corner store cafe. The owner was very helpful and willing to address any issues we had. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Dunes Park was perfect! Very quaint, retro style accommodation with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. Plenty of room and very comfortable. 😊
We absolutely loved our time in this charming house. For us the location was perfect with young kids, just a short walk to the beach. The kids also loved drawing with the chalk provided in the backyard and playing in the sunroom. The kitchen was very clean and functional. Only one thing we noticed was the house gets quite warm on the hot days, so a couple of pedestal fans for the bedrooms would have been great!
Thank you for having us Alison, we plan to book again!

Thanks for your feedback Erin, I'm glad you had a great time. I will definitely act on your feedback and purchase a couple of fans to help circulate the air-conditioning into the bedrooms.
Our family (including 2 dogs) stayed in this property for a week over summer. It had everything we needed and more. The location was great as it was within short walking distance to a beautiful all day off lead beach and the patrolled swimming beach. It was a lovely short walk into town (or the local cafe) giving us ample opportunity to ogle all the beautiful houses around Queenscliff.
The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was always hot. Would highly recommend.

What a fantastic place to relax and spend family time. There’s a garden for the dog, board games, a coffee machine and choice of sofas to relax in, of take a cricket bat and chair and head to the park or beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Great location, Beach , park land , Township, walking track.
Clean , retro style house, with a great living area plenty of space for everyone.
Would recommend.
This is the perfect house for our weekend away in Queenscliff . We come down for the Hotrod weekend in February and the house location on the highway into Queenscliff is perfect for us
Great sized house with good air conditioning. Good location though more of a short drive to the town rather than a walk - but easy stroll to the beach and Swan Bay. Few of the kitchen utensils were showing their age but plenty of stuff to use. Staying here was a retro experience right down to the 1970s phone and phone stand (had to explain to 10Y0 son how to use them!) - a good vibe!
We loved our stay, close proximity to the beach for our son and dog, whilst spacious inside! We particularly enjoyed sitting in the sun room talking and watching the world go by.
A simple relaxing stay close to water & a lovely walk to the main town
Our experience was relaxing, cosy & comfortable enjoyed being so close to nice walking trails & dog beach. Loved the quaint & old school beach house thanks for a great stay : )
Comfortable, clean and just a short stroll to the beach
We really enjoyed our stay here. Accurate description of the home - retro and old school beach house, incredibly clean and comfortable for us as a couple and our dog. Great short stroll to a fantastic doggy beach which was the highlight for us. We usually prefer staying a little closer to town but it’s only a few minutes drive. Overall we had a really great stay!
