Hi
Im glad you found the tiny house quiet and it is indeed close to the hospital
I’m surprised and disappointed that you rated the tiny house 3 stars when , I regularly recieve 5 stars on other platforms . Your review gives no indication as to what area you rated me low so Im unable to do anything about it , perhaps you are confused about the rating system . I offered prior to commencement of your stay if there was anything you would like arranged or done to make your stay more comfortable then not to hesitate to ask.
What a shame you didn’t ask .
I hope if you use this platform again you do give the host the opportunity to address anything you aren’t happy with and if you rate them lower than 5 you let them know why.
Having never stayed in a Tiny House before, this one exceeded all our expectations.Yes, it was small, but it included everything you need in a holiday home and the layout of the unit was very cleverly done.Access to the Rottnest ferry was 10 mins.We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend you to any future guests.5* all the way!

Wonderful little place . The best bed I can remember sleeping in . Great aircon . Just whet I wanted my little secret . I have stayed at lots of places …this was value for money with all the gear and the bed was a nest .

Thank you for your fantastic review . I find the bed super comfy as well and the air con is very efficient , which is just as well because you stayed during a heatwave. Hope you come stay again

This property should not be on Vrbo's list. It consists of a reasonable bathroom, a kitchen with no way to wash dishes, , (take them outside to unsecured alleyway with a laundry trough to wash the dishes ) , no cooktop, an uneven concrete floor ,badly painted ,peeling with 2 small slippery mats. The cookware supplied ,has worn out teflon coating. The smoke alarm is not properly installed. The double decker bed, bottom layer is not able to be accessed except from the bottom of the bed, because of the wooden structure supporting the top bed. Recovering from surgery for a kidney transplant, myself the donor, and my wife the recipient, we had to crawl up into bed, painful and exhausting, as we had to use the toilet several times each night. The ladder to the top bed is vertical , wood, steps far apart, and no handrail. The bottom bed consists of 2 heavy single bed mattresses laid crosswise on the bed. Not even one king size mattress. We could not access the top bed. The tv could only be viewed from the bed, as there is no room for chairs except right under the tv, with a small table area. The wifi was weak and unreliable. Toward the end of our 68 day stay, I told the landlady that we might not need the last week of our booking. She insisted that we should cancel the booking, so that she could get someone else in. I asked if she would refund that week, but she refused. so I did not cancel, and she got quite nasty, and after we left, claimed we left it very dirty.

This review stands in stark contrast to the many 5-star , 10/10 reviews I have received over the past five years, and in my opinion reflects more on you , the reviewer than on the property itself.
This review is retaliatory in nature.
If the property was truly as unacceptable as claimed, it is difficult to understand why the stay continued for such an extended period. You stated that you stayed 61 nights and were only requesting a refund for the final week, which is a considerable amount of time to remain in accommodation you claim to have been unhappy with.
This also contradicts your earlier emails stating that “all good with Tiny House.”
Your comments regarding the bed, television, and steps are accurate; however, all of these details are clearly disclosed in the listing description and photographs. The listing also specifically notes that the steps may not be suitable for everyone.
These features were fully visible to you prior to booking.
The “smoke alarm” referred to in your review is in fact a carbon monoxide monitor.
You received a discounted rate of $910 for booking 68 days, yet only stayed for approximately 40 days. In addition, the property was left vacant over the Easter period and school holidays, which would normally attract significantly higher rates than what you paid.
This is considered “rate manipulation” whereby a guest books a longer period to gain a discounted rate with no intention of staying.
Despite receiving a substantial discounted rate, you requested a refund for money that had not actually been paid.
You were also claiming reimbursement for the full stay through a government assistance program while seeking compensation from me.
At no time did I state that I wanted to rebook the property for another guest, this is a complete lie.
What I explained was that leaving the property vacant for an extended period would likely result in dust accumulation, and that additional cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen areas after being left unattended for so long may need to be deducted from the bond.
You immediately became aggressive and stated that the property would not require ANY cleaning, while also threatening legal action, consumer affairs complaints, negative reviews, and attempts to have VRBO “taken down” if I took any money from your bond.
You then inundated me with lengthy, aggressive and threatening emails.
Upon what would have been your checkout date, 10 days after your last visit , we entered the tiny house and found it in an extremely dirty condition, particularly the bathroom and shower area. What is normally a two-hour clean took almost six hours.
In five years of hosting, I have never encountered a shower floor left in such condition.
I documented the issues, provided photographs, and offered a compromise by charging only half of the additional cleaning costs from the bond, on the understanding that the aggressive emails and threats would cease and that no further action would be taken.
You agreed to those terms, yet have now chosen to leave what I consider to be a retaliatory review.

Cute and cozy Tiny House served my partner and I exceptionally well. We had a hire car and it was easy to get to Fremantle and Mandurah and other destinations, central location. Very tidy and neat. Enough space for two and new modern amenities. Very friendly host and neighbourhood.

Even though I expected it to be small, it was extremely small, with no room to even open my suitcase without having to step inside of it as no room left on the floor! No instant coffee. Struggled to find check in information. Otherwise it was clean, good bathroom, friendly host once I was able to make contact with her.
