Perfect little house!

This was the perfect little house for our stay. We were visiting my son at Mount St. Mary's university and this is in the perfect location. We had everything we needed on site, the rooms were perfect and clean. Loved our stay and will for sure be visiting again! Thanks.

Golf and skeet trip

Was in the area for a weekend of golfing and skeet shooting and this house was centrally located and met all our needs. Loved the fire pit out back. Beautiful house.

Grandma Time in a real home.

Everything was perfect, and comfortable. Owners really care about their visitors. Home was walk in perfect for a family long weekend. Happened to be Thurmont's annual colorfest festival, and home pefectly located, nestled away yet close enough for easy walking. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house with great amenities!

This rental is a perfect location near many great sites--Gettysburg, Antietam, Harpers Ferry, Catoctin Mountain Park, and Cumberland Falls State Park to name a few. There are some nice wineries in the area, too. The house is comfortable and is stocked with wonderful amenities--washer, dryer, grill, outdoor seating, great kitchen, and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and a shared glass of wine with owners Cassie and Colin. Highly recommend this rental!!

Wonderful Home in Thurmont

From the moment you step inside the front door you are impressed by the cleaniless, the functionality and comfort of this lovingly renovated home. Everything for the comfort of the guests has been thought of by the great hosts and provided. Communication with the owners was so easy! My family enjoyed the lovely decor and the locality near so many historical areas. We highly recommend this home! We hope to return soon!

Owner/host friendly and helpful. Communicated by text and asked us more than once if we needed anything! Fully stocked and amazing kitchen. Had everything from K cups to clothes detergent. The house was beautiful! Beds were comfortable. There was even a patio in back with grill. All appliances are first rate. Our host Cassie was very friendly. She left water in the refrigerator, instant oatmeal, coffee with cream and sugar and a bunch of bananas. It was great we had breakfast before heading out. I would stay there again if in area.

Civil War Battlefield Tour

We based out of here to tour three battlefield sites, Harpers Ferry,WVA, Antietam/Sharpsburg, Md and Gettysburg, Pa. Thurmont is centrally located and this place was perfect. Newly refurbished house and everything in the house is new, clean and good working order. Over the four day stay we ate out most of the time but had a really great night to grill out on the back patio our last night in Thurmont. WiFi worked great and the tv has all the usual streaming options. There is an Anytime Fitness gym a couple blocks south and an easy walk from here. Two grocery stores nearby makes it easy to stock up for the stay. Frederick, Md is a short drive away and has a really nice old town shopping area. Awesome house with all the necessities for a relaxing stay.

Perfect spot for a Gettysburg experience.

We were in the area to visit Gettysburg. The cottage was about 20 minutes from the park on a roadway. The cottage was beautiful, well kept, and perfect for our visit. A store was close by to fulfill our needs. Thanks.
