Cozy comfortable house

Comfortable, pleasant stay

This accommodation suited our needs for self catering ideally. It is clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped with all our needs for cooking, etc. Location suited us well for visits to Mesa Verde NP, Durango and Silverton. Certainly a good place to stay and close to Cortez if one chooses to eat out.

Stayed here with my husband and 10-year-old kiddo. This is such a beautiful part of town. Wonderful little ranch with beautiful views. All the beds were super comfortable. Slept so well. Plenty of space for the three of us. Close to everything. We even met the owner on the way out and she was absolutely delightful. Warm and friendly. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Absolutely loved our stay here. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Podunk's

We had an amazing stay. This is the third time we have visited Podunk's so obviously we love it here. Our host is consistently available and helpful should we need her. We feel right at home, have everything we could possibly want or need in the home. We enjoy privacy and peace and have minimal travel to town. We enjoy the views and the livestock close by. We will definitely visit again and recommend this property and host to all travelers regardless of the nature of your travel. You will find it effortless to have the peace and comfort of a home when you stay here!

It was PERFECT!

My husband and I loved staying at this house, and were so happy it was pet friendly! It was a perfect location to the Mesa Verde National Park, and surrounding areas! We enjoyed watching the cows and the Canadian Geese! The sunrises and sunsets were completely unobstructed, and were beautiful! We were able to meet the owner, and enjoy a cup of coffee with her. She's delightful! We were also able to purchase some of her beef from her ranch! BEST steaks we've ever had!

Colorado adventure

We’ve been traveling a loop through the Rocky Mountains and enjoying the fall colors. We almost exclusively camped, and in October it got pretty cold. Then we went to mesa verde and took respite at this fine little house on a cattle farm. Made good use of the shower and laundry. The house was very cozy, bright and clean. Thanks so much!
