Family Fun

Really enjoyed our time here. We kayaked, fished, swam, hiked, and kicked back. Very nice and quiet also. We highly recommend this place.

The best place to visit

The property was so big and a lot of open space. It's a great place to visit with family. There is also kayaking which was fun to do and fishing was great. There are also game in the house to play. Our family had a great time and will make sure to visit again.

A wonderful gathering spot.

The gentleman we rented from was very nice and checked in on us twice during our stay. The kitchen table was absolutely perfect. With 9 adults and several children finding a place we could all sit together for meals was great! The setting was wonderfully quiet.

Nice big house on beautiful small lake

Lots of space and amenities here. Extra linens, kitchen equipment…even good amount of paper products, etc. All ages found things to do - the young girls especially like the walk-in closets upstairs. One became their “Girls’ Room”!

Family retreat in a lovely home in a peaceful, beautiful spot!

We loved our stay & hope to be back! The house was clean & nice and a great place to host a big extended family. It is a beautiful setting away from everything. The children and the adults really enjoyed spending time on the lake. Inside the kitchen was well stocked and all the conveniences of home. We enjoyed being able to gather all of us around the huge table. The children had plenty of room to play. The owners were friendly & helpful.

This is a beautiful, spacious home on a peaceful lake. We had a 15 person group with 7 kids and 8 adults. We were all able to fit comfortably in the kitchen, and there was plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. The weather was great during our stay, so we spent most of the time enjoying the outdoors. The kids had fun in the game room and playing foosball in the evenings. The homeowner was friendly and quick to answer questions. We would love to come back sometime!

Great Family Vacation

My family choses a different place to stay each year for a small vacation. This year we chose this beautiful property, and we had a great time. There was plenty of room in the kitchen for all 15 of us to eat, a fun game room for the kids to play games and do puzzles, a great basement space with Foosball, and plenty of bedrooms and beds to sleep us all. Our favorite part was the outdoor space where we could kayak, canoe, and run around looking for turtles and frogs. The homeowner was also very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We absolutely loved this property and would love to come back!

Private Family Getaway Location

This home is very spacious and private. I stayed here with my family. We had a total of 9 adults and 4 teens. There was a lot of room and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies for cooking. The home was clean upon arrival. The owner was great! He had great communication before our arrival and was great about checking on us during our stay. We would absolutely love to rent this home again if we were to return to Michigan.

The PERFECT gathering place!

I can’t adequately express how much I loved this property and the pleasure that it brought to our group. Our stay was a reunion of lifelong friends: 5 couples and 2 young children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The bedrooms are very spacious and completely comfortable. The huge kitchen table fit all 12 and was our central gathering place when not hanging out on one of 4 porch areas, at the fire pit, or kayaking on the lake. The photos of the property don’t do it justice. It is magical and so peaceful. The woods are full of deer, the lake is smooth as glass, and the stars at night are brilliant. 4 kayaks & a canoe made for an even better stay. Earl is a wonderful host and is a text away if needed. We had everything we needed to cook in a well stocked kitchen. Laundry machines are huge and new. Everything was clean and well maintained. I can’t wait to return! (Side note: rent kayaks at Fawn River Kayak! For $20 you can kayak the Fawn River all day. Incredible deal! Sturgis is a charming town, Mancino’s pizza is really good, and you will find incredible deals at Bronson Discount Groceries.) Don’t hesitate on this property. It’s fabulous.
