The Strand provides a tranquil oceanfront hideaway to unwind with endless resort amenities to explore at your fingertips.

During your stay you'll have access to all of the Pacific Shores amenities including: an indoor pool and hottub, fitness centre, outdoor rock hot-tub and kiddie pool, sauna, pickleball/outdoor courts, seasonal use of kayaks, stand up paddle boards and retro cruiser bikes, indoor games room with ping pong and pool table, children's playground, common grilling stations and patio decks overlooking the water with gas fireplaces.

After a long day exploring and enjoying the resort, take in the ocean views and unwind in your king bed beside the gas fireplace, or take a long bath in our large soaker tub with Epsom Salts and BC made body care products from local refilleries . Or head to the living room to put a record on and cozy up with a book or a board game.

Located just a 7-minute drive from downtown Parksville and the famous Rathtrevor Beach. The Strand is the perfect jumping-off point to explore all that Vancouver Island has to offer while providing a serene place to land.

Everything in The Strand is hand-picked by your host for you to enjoy during your stay. You will be welcomed with coffee from Fernwood Coffee, tea from JusTea, body care products from Sudsatorium and Be Clean Naturally and beach towels and a beach blanket from Tofino Towel Co.

Beautiful home away from home

Jen's home has everything you need ...fully equipped kitchen, games to play, books to read, high quality bath and beach towels. We explored a few different beaches and walked through Cathedral forest and explored Little Qualicum Falls ... It was beautiful. Many dining options are nearby. We are definitely going to visit again and would love to return to Jen's home.

Beautiful Home Away from Home

The Strand was welcoming from the moment we opened the door. Bright, beautifully furnished, comfortable places to sit and rest, great views, and all the ammenities needed for a young family. All the details are thought of, nice message on kitchen board, little printer to make your mark with a photo, guest book stories, small details but show care for the guests. The coffee was readily available two ways and for two parents that run on coffee that was a great touch. The resort has all the extras needed. Took advantage of the pools and community grill. Would recommend this place to anyone and if ever in the area would definitely stay again. Thank you for providing the home base for great memories on the island.
