For a vacation in the PĂ©rigord en Noir, come enjoy our house "Les 7 ChĂątaigniers" with two private pools, including an indoor pool heated year-round, and a jacuzzi and sauna. Located 18 km from Sarlat, close to the most visited places in the PĂ©rigord: Domme, Beynac, and La Roque Gageac.

In a quiet house with a jacuzzi, sauna, billiards table, and Wi-Fi access, you'll have everything you need to make your stay in the PĂ©rigord a success.

The house has several bedrooms and bathrooms, including one on the ground floor with a bathroom accessible via two internal steps. The remaining bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs.

Excellent facilites in quiet location

Lots to do in property, rain or shine. Well equipped although the property is a little “tired.” Biggest issue is the property is not in Sarlat as advertised but 19kms to the south near Nabirat! Thus, no walking into town, rather bike rides and walks in the countryside

We had a good stay in this property. Something for everybody! A check of the kitchen equipment is needed. Plancha was not clean. Drawers got stuck. But overall we recommend it.

Great house with two pools in rural France

Eleven of us - aged 13 to 75 - had a wonderful week in this property deep in rural Dordogne, but only 5 miles from Gourdon. Big kitchen and dining room, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Big lounge with tv, pool table and table football, we had tournaments every day. Super indoor pool, great for kids and adults, plus an outdoor pool (unheated) not due to open until 12 June but at our request the owner kindly opened the pool on 1st June. Great pool for those 50 lengths before breakfast! We ate breakfast to the sound of crickets and Cuckoos. Highly recommended for family parties.

This house was great for a big family holiday with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Having 2 pools was great. We used the indoor one most as the outdoor one was unheated and therefore cold in September. It was also green on arrival and never quite got completely clean. The indoor pool was great and the adults did use the hot tub and sauna . The sitting room was great with pool table and table football. The kitchen had all the equipment that was needed. The house has been well used and could do with some maintenance . This did mean that with a big family party we could behave like we were in our own house so it was very relaxing . Very peaceful countryside setting . Lovely patio to sit and eat outside. Nearest baker is 5 minutes by car. Gourdon is the nearest town with a supermarket (15 min), Sarlat 30 min. Canoeing on the Dordogne in Grolejac 20 minutes . There is also a nice lake there .

Could be beautiful, property not in walking distance of any shops or restaurants so a car is essential. Property needs alot of maintenance,doors do not lock and appliances need replacing. Unsafe lighting indoor and out.Outdoor equipment poor,swing rotten,broken chairs and torn parasols outdoor pool loose slabs,torn liner pool turns green and unusable for the second week. Leak from upstairs ensuite caused ceiling collapse in room below causing damage to personal belongings Very disappointing for the money after looking forward to family get together for months.

Great family stay. Highly recommend

The property is located in a small village called Nabirat which is about 30 mins away from Sarlat. If going there, make sure you get the right address from the owner and not the location on the advert. The property is tucked away in beautiful settings. There are no shops in the village but 15 mins away, there are shops for your groceries. My advice is to get groceries on your way or get it delivered. The property itself is beautiful as advertised and spacious. It was an ideal setting as we were 2 families with 6 children. The only negative I would say is you have to bring your own beddings and towels or pay for the privilege. That does not work if you are flying and or if you are a big group. There are beautiful historical villages around the river and it is worth visiting. All in all a beautiful holiday, in beautiful settings. The owner is very kind and communicated promptly with you as does his manager.

Superbe maison au calme avec beaucoup de potentiel. La piscine exterieure manque d'entretien et plusieurs coupures électriques ont perturbé notre séjour : le sauna qui ne marchait pas et jaccuzi qui fonctionnait une fois sur 2.DommageAutre petit bemol et ayant pris l'option menage et draps/serviettes nous aurions apprécié un accueil plus chaleureux (1 rouleau de papier toilette dans les wc par exemple, kit vaisselle..) et une serviette supplémentaire pour la piscine serait appreciable.

Niveau de prestations pas au rendez-vous

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette maison. Le niveau de prestations n'est malheureusement pas au rendez-vous (rapport qualité/prix). - problÚme de température excessive du SPA et problÚme de PH de l'eau rendant l'utilisation quasi impossible (fond du SPA blanc nécessitant un nettoyage) - température de l'eau de la piscine et propreté pas au rdv - nous avons payé pour du bois de chauffage qui n'était pas présent (nous avons dû en acheter à nos propres frais) - problÚme de fuite d'eau des WC à l'étage - problÚme de prises électriques dans une chambre à l'étage - problÚme de luminaires défectueux à l'étage - problÚme de chauffage réglé toutefois en 24H - la douche de pluie du rdc était inutilisable en raison du calcaire Visiblement des travaux de rénovation ont été effectués avant notre arrivé mais les finitions n'ont pas été réalisées dans les rÚgles de l'art. Cette maison qui a du cachet mais nécessite un meilleur entretien que pour justifier le prix de location pratiqué. Nous allons introduire une réclamation et une demande de remboursement partiel eu égard aux éléments ci-dessus.
