Room 6 at the Otter Creek Inn

The Otter Creek Inn is conveniently located between Seal Harbor and Bar Harbor, in the valley between Cadillac and Dorr Mountains. This secluded historic inn is away from the hustle and bustle yet close to multiple park entrances. We have many trails that intersect Otter Creek to satisfy the nature lover in you. We are also located just minutes from the world famous Blackwoods Campground. You can enjoy spectacular scenic views from our decks or the comfortable lounge chairs on our front lawn. So when you're ready for some R&R, head to the Creek.

Our six guest suites have all been tastefully redecorated and feature HD TV, wi-fi, and mini fridge as well as your own private bath. The suites are not equipped with cooking facilities. They are, however, equipped with spectacular views of the mountains of Acadia National Park!

In Room 6, the loon room, Maine’s iconic bird graces the walls and fabric of this guest room. King bed, maximum two people.

Quaint cute place to stay for Acadia and Bar harbor

The Otter Creek Inn is located away from the hectic bustle of Bar Harbor and is well located for Acadia NP. The inn is small and intimate with a small country store adjacent where they ser ve the guests breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Access to Acadia

This place was the perfect place to stay while in Acadia! It was great to be able to bring our dogs and have them (& us) feel so welcome. Dawn & her staff are very friendly. The room was clean, the fridge was a generous size, and the antiques are charming. The photos don’t do it justice. Your reservation comes with more than what’s stated on the website. There’s a continental breakfast with fresh-baked muffins, fruit, & coffee. There’s also cereal, yogurt, & juice if that’s your preference. The location is close to anything you might want while staying in this area. We would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located property with nice view of mountains

This property was situated right along the route into Bar Harbor and very near the entrance to the gorgeous Acadia National Park. It was a quick, short ride to shopping and sightseeing in Bar Harbor. We had fabulous dinner at the Bar Harbor Inn and would definitely recommend the Reading Room or the Terrace for a dinner date. The homemade breakfast muffins were a welcome addition and having breakfast on the patio furniture in the front of the property made a good start to the day.
