About this property

3 bedroom 3 bath cottage near Montreat campus & 5 minutes to Black Mountain

Our home sleeps 6 adults and 2 youth/kids due to the bunk beds.
All new rental requests will be reviewed to ensure we can provide time for cleaning & a safe environment for your stay. Please send an Inquiry.
During the summer we will do our best to accommodate any rentals that align with the Montreat Clubs & summer events.
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday from June to August.
We offer a discount on weekly rentals.

The house:
Newly renovated home with a large open living space, updated kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The house offers one level living with only a few steps to access the porch from the parking area. The kitchen is outfitted with all the modern amenities needed for an extended stay. New HVAC & laundry. Hardwood floors throughout. Large front porch with ceiling fans & a side patio for outside dining.

Features:
The big dining table seats 8 and the island has seating for 4. Large living room with flat screen TV & sectional. The master bedroom has a king bed & a private bathroom. The bunk room & bath can accommodate 4 youth with ample storage. The guest bedroom and bath can easily accommodate 2 people. There is a pack-n-play, baby gate & booster seat provided.

Extras:
Parking for 2 vehicles and a ground level entry.
Linens provided.
There's a path to the creek adjacent to the property
We have a security camera monitoring the front driveway & walk.

Location:
Conveniently located within walking distance to the Montreat campus and a 5 minute drive to Black Mountain and 20 minutes to Asheville.

Great mountain retreat

We had a great stay here. The cabin itself is super clean and easily accessible (can’t say the same about all the rentals in Montreat). The location is great. You can walk to great hiking trails and it’s just a 5 minute drive to great restaurants in Black Mountain. Absolutely would recommend this cabin.

This was a lovely house. The area of Montreat is amazing. We walked to the park and the kids had a blast. We especially loved falling asleep listening to the babbling creek just behind the house.

A lovely home!

We had a lovely stay in Montreat! The home was charming with all the amenities we could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with ample dishes and cooking utensils. The hosts were accommodating and when we decided to stay an additional day April was very helpful! All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

Montreat Worship and Music Conference

We had a wonderful time.The house was so nice. We were very busy, so we weren't there much during the day, but enjoyed our evenings. The kids played outside a lot. We saw lots of wildlife. Deer, rabbits and Mama bear and her two cubs.

Wonderful Stay in Montreat

This house was perfect for our family during Thanksgiving.. The owners did a great job with renovations - updated kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms as well as hardwood floors. The living room had plenty of sofa space for us. We also enjoyed exploring the creek behind the house. We hope to return again in the future.

Perfect spot!

This home was so wonderful! The creek just behind the house was a hit for our kids. They also loved the bunk beds. We had everything we needed in just the right amount of space. Montreat is so special to me, and it was so great to share it with my kids. We got snow and got to see bears!

Extremely clean and comfortable. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of couch space for relaxing and reading. Everything you need for your vacation without all of the extra clutter that sometimes comes with vacation homes. We also loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek behind the primary bedroom.

Amazing Stay in Montreat

Location was perfect! We walked everywhere, even in 35/40 degrees. Big open living space. Loved that each room has a bathroom. (One is a hall bathroom) House was clean, kitchen was fully stocked. Owners were super helpful when cable went out. Hope to rent again in summer or fall.
